There is no simularities. There is nothing. That was a criminal act. He ended a guys career but not as part of the game like you seem to think. He ended a guys career because he broke his neck doing something that had no part of the game.
I ask you- If I come up to your dad, sucker punch him, and break his neak and face on the street because he cut me off. Is that ok? How about if we were both holding hockey sticks? does it then make it ok?

Sports are about sports and sportsmanship. What Todd did was not and that is why there were multiple criminal lawsuits filed.
