Would love to sign him, especially if DJ's suspension holds up and we dont re-sign Woodyard.

This is exactly the type of move DEN has to do.

Since we drafted so poorly the last 10 years, & after what Mcdaniels did to our roster, bringing in guys entering their prime... talent to replenish our personnel... adding young, quality starters... at reasonable prices... allows us to move in the right direction. Toss in some versatile vets on the verge of leaving their prime, entering their decline, but still have something to offer... Will get us to where we want to be.

Sure, Brandon Carr would have been great. Mario Williams as well. But adding a McClain, Adams, Trufant is a definte upgrade for our defense.

This was one guy I was hoping we would chase. Now we need to get it done.

Von Miller, DJ Williams (even if he serves 6 game suspended), Jameel McClain, Nate Irving, is sweet. Bring back a Woody, or Mays, or Hagan, and hope to strike it rich w/ a mid to late round draft pick... Will give us a solid 6 LB group.

Ravens lost Grubbs, Redding & Jarret Johnson... I know they want to keep JM... Just hope that doesn't hurt our chances, or drive up the price.

I will be shocked if Mays comes back to the Broncos.

Is anyone concerned that we have a couple of key FA signings (McClain, Abraham, Trufant) scheduled or rumoured to come in soon and our whole coaching staff and front office is in Raleigh?

They will be back in time. It is only a 3 hour flight by private jet.

So if almost the entire FO is headed to Raleigh, who's running the joint when McClain visits? Just Fox?

Hopefully Fox (and Del Rio) can make a really good pitch to the man. I just hope the pursuit of Manning doesn't cause us to lose a shot at a good up and coming LB.

I thought it was Rolando McClain at first. I went on Madden and with the updated rosters hes rated an 80, thats 2 points over Mays, FYI.

Interesting question. If all of Bronco FO is heading to Durham, who is meeting with McClain today? Maybe Bowlens receptionist? LMAO

McClain would be solid in the middle of our defense.

My understanding is McClain is predominantly a run-stopper and everyone knows we could use more than a couple of players who can do that.

I have a feeling DJ will get waived if he doesn't get his suspension overturned.

What is a non-human specimen, anyway? I have some good news and I have some bad news.....The good news is you are drug-free, the bad news is you are due to have 8 puppies 2 months from now.

McClain will be visiting the Jets. The Ravens also want him back. He won't be a Bronco unfortunately. Why don't we look at Loften? C'mon Broncos sign him!

People don't even realize that Madden is a great way to gauge free agents and see what type of player they are.

    McClain is pretty good.

Just keep in mind that he was rotated and benched in favor of LB Dannell Ellerbe in Baltimore at one point in 2010.

    Had a good bounce-back season in 2011

FA Targets: DT Jason Jones, DT Pat Simms, S Reggie Smith, LB Dan Connor

Nope Fox is heading to Raleigh too. JDR is likely going to have to lock him up, he's a former HC and LB so I have some faith in him to get the job done. I'm sure EFX already has a contract drawn up for him to sign, if they don't then they might be as incompetent as some people say
