    Shabazz Muhammad!!

Vegas Baby!! Best player in the entire nation plays here in Las Vegas for Bishop Gorman High school. I have been following him out here for a few years, and today he is scheduled to make his decision on his college commitment. As of now he has it narrowed down to Kentucky, Duke, and UCLA. I am not normally the type to follow a single player instead of a team but this guy is going to tear up the college landscape (for probably a year) then be an immediate star in the Association.

I can't wait to see what school he commits to so I can get my #15 Jersey! (sound familiar? ) For those of you who are unfamiliar, here are a couple highlight videos.

Here are some highlights from the McDonalds All American Game played a few weeks ago. Shabazz won the MVP of the game, his highlights start at the 30 second mark.

Shabazz also won the McD's Dunk Contest (which was 100x's better than the NBA's).

Here's the highlights of that if you want to check it out.

As someone who follows recruiting/high school ball very closely, i really, really hope he goes to UCLA.

    Anywhere but Dook or UK.

And he's probably one and done wherever he goes, kid is gonna be a superstar.

I actually just want him to go to Kentucky just because Calipari produces NBA Superstars like an assembly line. Derrick Rose, Tryeke Evans, DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall, I'm sure I'm missing some.

I think Kentucky would make him into the best player of the 3 but you're right, no matter where he goes he is a Superstar in the making.

IMO he is the best player to come out of High School since Lebron. If there wasn't the rule that's now in place he could go straight to the league and start from day 1 right now. He is the first person since Lebron that I thought while watching him "That is a grown man playing with little kids!".

Yep, best bet is at UK, but rumors have it he's going to UCLA, hope they are right.

And i dunno about best HS player since Bron, but Bazz is gonna be special. If UNC wasn't so deep at the 2-3, i'd love to have him, but no room.

Sources have confirmed that Shabazz Muhammad has made his decision to attend UCLA. Congrats to Ben Howland.

    ..

Lots of people leaking it's UCLA, if so, grats to them, getting a great player.

They'll have a really good team next year, with Bazz, Anderson, and possibly Tony Parker plus the other players they have coming back.

Poop. Wish he chose Duke...kinda...but I'm sick of one and dones like Irving and Rivers. So, I'm fine with it...but still would've been nice.

Yes, but Bazz is a rare talent, he can make a team from a good team to a great team single handidly sp?

I hate the one and done rule though.

I don't like the 1 and done rule either.

It should either be 3 years like football, or none at all like it used to be.

I'd be fine with a 2 year rule, but longer they stay, the better.

Players need more coaching before they go pro.

Most do. Every once in awhile you get a kid with a grown man body at 18, and college is really not needed. (Lebron, Howard, IMO Shabazz) but for every kid like that, there are a hundred who think they're ready when they aren't, and it kills their career .
