but i didn't make a smack thread about any message board, i made a smack thread about running backs, pointing out that Terrell Davis wasn't nominated in that poll made on ESPN.

yes the point was to make fun of the Denver homers who i knew would be delusional about it (not that its a terrible thing, i said earlier in the thread that i do understand the homerism for TD here). how many smack threads are made to make fun of the chargers fans here? do you see me crying troll every time one is made?

its a legit smack thread, sorry you don't approve, if it was about the chargers or their fans i am sure you would approve. in fact, how many smack threads have you made in the past about how the CMB is moderated? stop being so hypocritical.

would you rather this smack forum turn into what the CMB has?

tebow was handcuffed?? LOL where did you get that idea from? they adopted a college style offense just for tebow because he couldn't run a pro style offense, what else were they supposed to do for him?

even with the college style offense the Denver offense was horrible. yeah they won games but the games they did win were largely due to the defense keeping it close to the very end, most of the time tebow was extremely bad and the tebow fans held the broncos organization hostage.

as much as i hate to say it, bringing in manning was the best thing the broncos could have done to defuse the situation and get rid of the distraction that is tim tebow.

they couldn't have just brought in anybody to replace tebow at that point, they needed a proven franchise quality QB and they could of not done any better than manning.

a starting NFL QB tebow is not, he can be good in certain situations but as a full time starter, no matter what team he is on, that offense will be bad.

i highly doubt he ever becomes a starting QB ever again unless someone gets injured. tebow just doesn't fit the mold of what a QB is in the NFL, he needs to be a short yardage part time option (who can also still throw deep if someone is left wide open), that's what he excels at.

Most of the fans on here hated the playcalling because they seemed to run up the middle most of the time. A Tebow fan? Absolutely. I was a Broncos fan from 1990 untl February of this year, but what Elway did to Tebow was wrong and I didn't like alot of his other moves. I'll NEVER root for the Patriots & I won't root for NYJ, unless they make some drastic changes

So you abandon a team because they got rid of your favorite player on it 22 years after you became a fan of the team? You are a horrible fan.

Elway was speaking the truth, he said that Tebow would be the starter heading into training camp, and he would have been if a guy not named Peyton Manning was available. If Peyton Manning had not been available, Elway still would have brought a quarterback in to compete for the starting job. Tebow had a good run of things but eventually defenses caught up to speed with him and shut him down. That Steelers game was an aberration, unless you expect all defenses in the future to play him with 11 men on the line of scrimmage. And even then, during his best game of his career, he still couldn't hit more than 50 percent of his passes and was largely ineffective during long stretches of the game (which eventually let the Steelers back into the game).

If you listened to what Elway said about Tebow you wouldn't be butthurt right now.

if you are a rival fan you definitely do not need to be a good smack talker to get banned. in fact, if you are a rival fan and don't get banned while still getting your smack in, i would say you are damn good at what you do.
