You do realize Sakic holds the equivalent role for the Avs that Elway holds with the Broncos right?

Of course I do. Sakic is not a coach and to my knowledge either is Elway. I am just saying that sometimes the best players don't often make the best coaches.

Thanks for all great memories and moments here that all Bronco fans will cherish forever. Champ Bailey is my 3rd favorite Bronco player ever he's right up there with John Elway and Rod Smith for me. You were terrific talent once in an generational type but even better you were class act on and off the field. You'll be missed by not only Bronco fans but all fans of NFL. Thanks Champ!
