If Manning stays, then whomever it is needs be able to be a coach to Manning. I like Manning, but there should to be somebody who can take from his uniquely experienced perspective and still have the final say. That doesn't have to put PM on a short leash, but it should define boundaries where the coach is the end all, not just another vote in a collaboratively run organization.

Gase, for that reason alone, in my opinion, would be a disaster.

Broncos will seek permission to interview Ravens OC Gary Kubiak, who played and coached in Denver but has said he would stay in Baltimore.
I've been saying this whole time (since before Fox was fired) that Kubiak was the likely choice. He and John are friends, he has a history with us ect...

I don't care that he did say he would stay in baltimore, he said that before Denver was an option and if John Elway wants him John Elway will get him.

I have faith in Elway and will stand behind his decision - please don't be Gase. :p
That right there has been a concern of mine as well. I just haven't been impressed by what we've seen but a Peyton Manning under center doesn't exactly make for creative plays due to his limitations (not very mobile, not a strong arm). With Peyton, you rely on timing so the question then becomes, how much of Gase's potential have we actually seen yet?

From what I've heard, SF is doing what is said to be a marathon interview (8 hours) with Gase in Denver today so he's probably gone anyway lol

As we saw when he recruited Elway... John's strength, so far, as an executive... like a successful HC in college... is he gets his man. Let the free agent whisperer start talking to Gary... I'm sure he'll know how to coax him... If he truly wants him 100%. Now, the health factor may be key here... but we shall see.

I really hope SF hires him. He'd be a good fit for Keapernick:

"Ok, Kaep, here's the game plan: run up the middle, bubble screen, QB draw, bomb/fade. That's all we'll need!"

Not surprised about Bowles, Elway watched first hand his team dismantle that D.

Look we went defensive minded last time...It's time for a strong offensive minded coach paired with a good defensive coordinator like Schwartz. The thing about Kubiak is he's good for the offensive side of the ball regardless of it being Manning or Brock or some mobile rookie. He's going to build a good offense that is fun to watch (like we had back in the plummer days)

As said above....We watched our team beat up on bowls and Quinn is riding the coat tails of Gus Bradley.

    OC- Dennison
    DC- Fangio

You seem to forget that Dennison was the runner up to Fox.

He is a great coach who would succeed with some strong coordinators and him and Elway's relationship is similar to Kubes. If the Broncos can't have Kubes, its very possible Dennison would become a candidate.

The guy has coached nearly every position on offense, plus played linebacker. He has done a terrific job everywhere he has been. IMO he is the most underrated assistant coach in the NFL.
