Yep! He don't look like #3 pick talent. He may have a good career but good players are not top ten draft picks. You need All Pro game changers at that spot.
He went #3 overall so 1 double digit sack season in four years like Ingram is going to label him a bust.

He will need to start day 1 and for at least 4 seasons before we make a bust/Great Pick decision.

He will need to average double digit sacks over that time not almost sacks.

At #3 he needs to put up Von Miller, Lawrence Taylor, Simeon Rice kind of production.

You wanna use my name this is my criteria for a pass rusher taken #3 overall, you've been warned. He becomes a game changer I will eat crow.

Playing 34 de is not the same as 43de...I think the guy is gonna be ok....whether he lives up to getting on the top 10 fantasy metric hurry stat list is another story

Hopefully he can also protect rivers at the same time

He projects as a OLB in a 3-4 he is a bust if he doesn't put up the same numbers as other top 5 drafted pass rushers.

it's pretty hilarious how much misinformation there is out there about this, even in the media. everyone seems to think he is going to be playing at OLB but in reality he will be their starting DE on day 1.

    http://www.chargers.com/video/2016/0...ound-one-recap

    watch that and learn something.

"we're in a 4 man front two thirds of the time"

4 man front meaning his hand in the dirt playing the exact same position he played at ohio st.

he isnt playing the same position as von miller or ingram, he is filling a large void at DE, our biggest need going into the draft. what they will do with him in the 3 man fronts (1/3 of the time, according to tom telesco) will be interesting to see. but obviously they feel that with his versatility then can probably move him up and down the DL as thy see fit, we will see.

it's also pretty hilarious you think he isn't a top 10 player, based on what exactly? his sack totals? hahaha how donko fan of you to look at sack totals and come to a sweeping conclusion about a player.

PFF has him as their best player in the draft, not top 5 or top 3....THE top guy.

    https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...outing-report/

he isn't just a pass rusher, he is a great run stopper as well.

    • Productive pass rusher: No. 1 in the nation in 2014 among edge defenders, No. 2 in 2015.

    • Only six of his 70 pressures came unblocked in 2015. Had to earn them.

    • Strong run defender: No. 1 in the nation among edge defenders in both 2014 and 2015

not a top 10 player? LMAO!! good one bro!

Is it too early to say Bosa(who already is the GOAT)>>> Ingram(who was the GOAT) >>>> Miller?

Too soon to tell? Or do we get to re-read about "almost-sacks" and stuff like that?

I mean, he hasn't flashed yet, so it's probably too early to tell.

That's really what it boils down to more than anything. He was the wrong pick when you have to keep your QB from getting maimed.

exactly...the bolts were not that bad on the dline, if ingram is all world class elite level like bap thinks it don't make sense to leave two of the best OTs in the draft sitting, when their oline sucked so much

still on the media bandwagon i see? so who should the chargers have picked? tunsil? the third tackle drafted with character and injury concerns? stanley? the guy the chargers were rumored to have liked who wasn't considered a top 5 talent by most?

the chargers don't have a need at tackle currently, they were banged up last year but when healthy king dunlap can do just fine. the chargers real issues on the OL is center and they need to figure out how to run the football, which will protect rivers' backside more than drafting another LT they don't really need unless you are convinced dunlap is going to get injured again?

if LT was a need and there was a top 5 talent there that they liked? then sure. but the chargers liked bosa all along and nobody had a clue

the media was clueless, so many people thought tunsil was the guy and he never was. the media also thinks bosa is being plugged into the OLB position and are knocking the chargers for the bosa pick based on that.

just a bunch of morons lol
