Week 2 of football yeeeeehaaawww!!
Trevor Siemian and our offense must establish a rhythm unlike last game. Minimize turnovers and get a good, strong push upfront. With a depleted Colts secondary, it may be tempting to go on an aerial attack, but CJ Anderson and Devontae Booker must see a substantial amount of touches to get the offense going and to take the pressure of Trevor Siemian. With DT playing through an injury, Emmanuel Sanders needs to step up like he always has.
Andrew Luck is a dangerous QB. He eliminated us in the playoffs two years ago and made it look effortless against our defense last season. Our pass rush needs to apply the pressure. Jared Crick and Adam Gotsis have been quite underwhelming thus far. Donte Moncrief and Phillip Dorsett can stretch the field against almost any secondary. Well, ALMOST any secondary. Our No Fly Zone will have a mission today.
I am predicting Siemian throws for 2 TDs and finishes just shy of 300 yards. Von Miller will have two sacks. Roby will have a pick.
Broncos 27-17
