I wouldn't be upset with Johnathan Hankins or Bennie Logan, for that matter. They definitely would come cheaper than Williams.

Bet the Jets are one of them.

Anyways back on topic. Someone posted something that broncos were not going to replace garcia... so going in Elway felt like he needed a guard and 2 tackles... guard is off the list... 1 tackle i am assuming will be in the draft and another "bargain" guy in FA that wont command 9-12 million a year.

As for defense broncos really need a NT but I wouldn't overpay one since they usually only play 50% of snaps... it is the reason Poe didn't get a new deal and berry did.
Good post. Some sense at last.

I like Garcia at RG, so the Leary signing crosses the OG need off the list.

We still need 1 OT, a NT, and a DE.

    Not sure who is left..........

Fans are too concerned with what is an overpay or not rather than does it make the team better and can it be afforded. Who wants a "Bargain guy" at OT? Apparently we do. I think we are being frugal, and most likely because we have this money set aside for Romo possibility.

Same stuff as last year where we held off with "Brock money set aside and got those "bargain" OL instead of getting 1 very good one.

Beachum and Hankins. I was really hoping for Romo, but I guess that is basically over now.

I don't think we're in the value stage of FA yet, it's still the first day

According to Schefter, Luke Joeckel got a one-year, 8 million dollar deal. That Leary signing is looking pretty good.

I like Leary, he played really well at the end of last season/playoffs when Collins went down and was a clear upgrade

Pretty much every T except Okung/Beachum off the market.

DL is kinda thin missing on Calais and Baker.

I'd still make a run for Romo but wats the point if we wont upgrade the line?

Forgot about Chance Warmack, he signed a one year deal. Sounds like one of the value signings of the first day

How is the DL thin? Williams, Poe, Hankins, and Fairley are all still available.
