    Osweiler to Cleveland!!!

    Bwaaaaaahahahhahahahaha

Browns acquired Brock Osweiler, a 2018 second-round pick, and a 2017 sixth-round pick from the Texans in exchange for a 2017 fourth-round pick.

Texans dump Brock Osweiler to Browns

Just heard this on a local Phoenix sports station. This is a stunner. And what the hell is Cleveland thinking?

Browns basically have up a fourth this year for a second next year. Brock is a bonus. If he sucks the guaranteed money is up after this year and can cut him and they have the cap space to do this. Looks like we will lose.out on Romo too

They get a 2nd rounder and a 6th and give up a 4th. They have so much cap that it doesn't matter. They can dump Brock after this year with little effect. The Texans pretty much just traded a 2nd and a 6th for a fourth and cap space.

This seems like a move made by the Texans to clear the way for Romo. Or so it seems to me.

Obviously the Browns think Osweiler is better than anything they're going to get in the draft. Kinda tells you what teams think of Watson.

In two years Oz went from Super Bowl champ to Qb the Browns.

His career is now on death's doorstep

Good decision to leave Denver dude

Going to be interesting to see if the Browns actually go through with waiving Osweiler.

What have they got to lose to keep him on the roster. No current starter. Mock drafts have them picking other positions. Perhaps they trade for Garoppolo? Maybe not.

    Such an odd move.

LOL read the bolded.... they are even saying that they might dump OZ and just bought a draft pick, hahaha

This stunning move will take some time to digest, but it could augur a new era of trades in the NFL. The Browns had so much cap space that they essentially used it to buy a draft pick. The Texans were allowed to move on from one of the biggest free agent mistakes in NFL history and start over at the quarterback position. It's reminiscent of trades that often happen in the NBA, where teams trade disastrous contracts often

Rapoport reports that the Browns are weighing whether to keep Osweiler or release him.
