Every qb in this league would be fragile behind our line.

Plus you need a good line for stellar qb play, regardless of the QB and for a good running game. So your animosity towards our qb's isn't really relevant considering we need it for much more than just that.

That's if this is in fact legitimate and not another move by Jerry Jones trying to force John always hand.

I wish he would stay with the Cowbo and collect his money from Jones. Make them cut him so they will take a cap hit on him!
Good luck Romo with your future!

I think its legit. Even Schefter is reporting that Romo is retiring and there has been no one refuting any retirement reports.

I wonder if his pending release was on the condition that he retire or at least not go to Houston.

I don't think anyone will admit to it.

Anyway, I hope he is content with his decision.

It almost seems like there's more to the story doesn't it. Jerry Jones is a conniver who knows what he told Romo or if there was even some kind a blackmail involved. Lol

So can we go trade for Sheldon Richardson and Jason Peters or Joe Thomas.

Because Trevor was able to stay healthy last year with the poor blocking and constant hits?

He was undefeated until his shoulder injury occurred.
Kind of says something about the kid if they'd give him the proper protection.

Its a bold statement and I said it last season and everybody gave me crap however I'll say it again, Trevor Simeon could be every bit as good as Tom Brady or Joe Montana in the right system.

Too many people say that he's the poor man's Alex Smith however I don't believe that for one second, he's got so much more talent and the ability to become a good football mind under the proper coaching. We need to go get a LT for this kid!

The team won games which doesn't change the fact that he got injured twice as a result of poor line play and we ultimately missed the playoffs. Its still the #1 priority in the draft.

Good for him. He would have been an exciting addition for a year or two, but longterm (and arguably short term given his injury history) we are better off figuring out what we have in TS and Lynch.
