    Red was the HC when I started to watch the Broncos. I was young and just starting to watch football. Broncos were a team that just kinda came out of nowhere and were the underdog. Plus my mom was always talking about growing up in Denver. Living in Charleston in the 70's, Atlanta was the closest team and they were never on TV. Broncos were usually on TV more often.

    Yea, it was a fumble but the TD reception by Jack Dolbin that was ruled a non-catch by the refs made up for it. Even the great John Madden has said the Broncos wouldve won that day either way because, it was just "their time".
