Some of you aren't going to like this thread. Oh well....

Brandon Marshall.

Our resident Bronco Problem Child. Brandon has promised us (ala Carmello Anthony) that he's learned his lessons....is going to grow up and start acting like a bigger boy, and all that blah blah blah crapola that they learn at their sports agent's knee.

He shows up flexing his hand and flashes us the little boy smile (ala Carmello Anthony) and expects us....no, demands from us, that we buy his shtick.

Then he hops on a plane and heads to Vegas to go to the same nightclub that fellow NFL idiot Javon Walker likes to douse strangers in....and within days of the attack.

Am I going out on a limb here by saying that Brandon Marshall has all the judgement of an Australian ostrich???

Some people just don't get it. They just don't. No matter what you say, what you do....no matter how many YEARS pass by.....they never get it.

I'd wager good American cash that most of you know someone personally just like this motley collection of immature idiot athletes.

Brandon Marshall's ego is the most important thing to him in his life....that is clear. He's the "man" and no one is going to stop him from putting himself in risk situations.

This clown has learned NOTHING. Trade him while he still has value, Shanahan.

Except that it wasn't even the same club.

I understand why you have this view...

I just think its wrong.

When a player can go to a club and not get in trouble (the way Marshall did). I don't see what the issue is.

I've been to clubs... *shrug*

According to LV Metro police (who I've worked with in the past on numerous occassions)....Javon Walker was spraying down patrons with champagne in both the Tryst and Body English at Hard Rock.

The fact remains that Brandon pumps out this PR video of himself and a bunch of kids, talking about "putting himself in risk situations" and then heads off to the same place where good old Javon just got through doing their favorite spectator sport.....spraying down strangers with alcohol.

On the other hand, Denver fans have been buying Carmello's lies for years now....why wouldn't they support Marshall's behavior and subsequent BS?

Exactly. Homeboy did nothing illegal and didn't act like a horse's ass a la Javon Walker. Big effing deal...

I hate how everybody calls these young athletes immature, and wants them to prove that they aren't all the time, I really hate the modern sportsfan. Everybody hating on Walker, Carmelo, all of these players because they aren't "mature" enough. Why don't some of you people grow up, look at yourselves and realize that calling somebody you've never met before immature, is pretty ********* immature.

Carmelo and Marshall are the saviors of the Denver sports world, without them both teams are embarrassments. Kiss their diamond encrusted rings and thank them for saving you the humiliation of wearing a Broncos or Nuggets jersey. These people owe you nothing.

You may have a point, but the playground defense that the Nuggets employ is an embarrassment. Melo is one of the worst at it too. He could be a very good defender if he wanted to.

Watching a bunch of illiterate punks play with around with a leather ball isn't a sport.....it's ultimate boredom.

We have people like Jay Cutler, John Lynch, and Rod Smith on this team.....WHY do we need to kiss the diamond of some punk who can't act right and then lies openly to everyone about it???

I there something wrong with preferring decent people to punks? Has it become "unfashionable" to expect some sort of human decency, responsibility, and accountability from our so-called "role models"????

On the other hand, people worship rap lyrics nowadays....so who can be surprised.

I live with and around a bunch of active duty military personnel that are up and off for work at 3:30 am everyday ensuring that you have the freedom to post like a jerk.

Wow, I guess anyone who ever has gone to Vegas and walked into a club is a dispicable person and should be exiled immediately.

So what if he went to Vegas and had a good time - that's what it's there for. The problem is when people take it too far and do stupid things like spray people with champagne or throw money in the air to "make it rain".

Brandon did nothing wrong. He didn't get a DUI or get into fight or anything. I don't expect athletes to live in a plastic bubble when not on the field.
