No doubt he'll be signed to the practice squad if no other team claims him.

Yep. There's no way we let a player go that was good enough to make the cut when we could let some crappy player like Santonio Beard go. There is something about Mauck that makes me think he's going to win us some games in the future. ALOT of games.

Which one of these players currently on the practice squad should we cut to make a spot for Mauck?

wide receiver Romar Crenshaw, defensive tackle Nick Eason, linebacker Louis Green, defensive end Bryant McNeal, running back Cecil Sapp, center-guard Josh Sewell and quarterback Bradlee Van Pelt.

I'd say Romar. We've got quite a few capable WR's right now on the roster and WR's don't get seriously injured too often. Problem is that we would then have 2 QBs on the practice squad and Plummer still has at least 4 years left in him. Would Shanny want to keep two rookie QBs around that long?

Ya gotta keep Sewell man! He's a corn-fed Nebraska boy (Nebraska, I hope that's not a cuss word in Colorado, is it?), and he played pretty well for us, even though the 'skers look pretty lousy lately.

Well if he's from Nebraska that means should have some good run blocking techniques. I'm glad we picked him up lets just hope he can quickly learn the zone blocking scheme so he can produce for the team.

Dunno what planet you are from hoss, but even the ppl in Louisiana admit that mauck was an average QB at best. Our ( LSU ) Defense won us the majority of games when we took the championship. I'm glad the Broncos cut him. He's already too old to even be considered a "prospect".

Nuff said...

I say Eason because Beard is a good back to pound the ball he kinds of remind me of Anderson in ''some'' ways you never knoiw if Q Hearst or bell gets injured atleast we can bring up a back thats pretty good

No way in hell get rid of Romar. He's going to be a starting receiver for denver in 2 years.

I thought Van Pelt was on practice squad and could be 3rd QB if needed?
