OK, during the game today he was talking about Marshawn Lynch and said that he is a bigger candidate to go the distance in spite of not having great speed. He likes his ability to follow blocks. Im still not seeing in that why he is a bigger home run threat than Willis McGahee. Im not an avid follower of the Bills and havent seen a lot of his games but if I look at McGahee and Lynch in college, McGahee is the more explosive runner. I realize McGahee had that injury and Im not sure to what degree that may have slowed him down...I had been under the impression he was back to form with the knee. In any case, can anyone make sense out of Randy Cross' sance that Lynch is a bigger HR threat than McGahee in spite of not having substantially greater top end speed?

Randy Cross is an @ss-w!pe!!!!!!!!! He never has anything good to say about the Broncos!!!! And when he says something that makes you feel good about them, he follows it up by comparing them to a "better" team. He can bite my @ss!!!! :fight:

Randy Cross is my vote for worst NFL broadcaster. I have always hated listening to games he does... I wish they would duct tape his mouth shut before each game and just show him on screen every few minutes or so as he struggles to say something perplexing. At least we could all get a chuckle!

Now that Bill Maas went off the deep end and is bound for the state pen-- Randy Cross is hereby nominated for worst broadcaster in the NFL.

I can't even count all the bonehead things he said today... There was him talking about how the Broncos finished strong last year (Yeah, memo to Cross: Denver missed the playoffs after starting 7-2, not exactly a great start). Then there was some crazy bit about aliens which may or may not have had something to do with the Alien movies, and surely had no relevance to the game itself.

Hopefully most of his nonsense will be cut out when we see this game on NFL replay (I'm sure we will).

Yeah, something about All Pro DEs like Simeon Rice are like those creatures in alien movies where you know the humans are doomed. LOL. Its like, "yeah, Randy...exactly...thats just what I was thinking...Aliens and All Pro defensive ends...I was just about to say something about that...it was on the tip of my tongue" I had forgotten about that. LOL

Seriously, I have to assume he is on drugs too... What else could make a guy be so scatter brained on national tv? It's too bad because I actually like Kevin Harlan (I think that's the play-by-play guy's name, but I could be totally wrong)-- He has alot of enthusiasm.

No, its actually Gus Johnson not Harlan. Gus Johnson also does NCAA tournament games. People often dote on him for his enthusiasm. Sometimes I think he oversells it though.

Oh, gottcha... Not sure why I got them mixed up... Yeah, he can oversell it at times, but I'd rather him err on the side of too much enthusiasm than someone like Pat Sumerall who never showed an ounce of emotion.
