Hey! We need some more smileys to make the board come alive more! Just maybe 10 funny ones or something would be good. :)

Yeh but only if we can *use* them - screw this 2 smilies per post rule!!! You know, many people are encouraged to post "long posts" and people are looked down upon for 1 or 2 sentence posts...What really frustrates me, is if I type up a whole long reply to something, go to click submit & I've included too many smilies - there should be a way of limiting it so that if that's all that is in a post, it is not allowed, but if you have a 5 paragraph essay, you should be able to interject 10 smilies or so - The way I see it two per paragraph - that way if you have something angry to say & then want to lighten things back up, you can do so with the smilies.

I would not, however, want people to take advantage of the "multiple pictures" allowance/disallowance - Some signatures already take that to extremes...

Ha!....I like that one too Jim. Reminds me o' my youth. Good Lord. I rememeber one o' the last concerts I ever went too. Figured I was gettin' old when I spent half the night trying to keep a 13 yr old kid from gettin' in the mosh pit at a "Megadeth" concert. I failed and he broke an arm  Meanwhile, the ex-wife had a pretty good laugh at my expense for "spraining" my neck

Nuff said...

may have seen someone do it but not me... this is the same as spam posting... posting just for the sake of posting.,, such as when some one writes a large informative post and the nextr person just s writes "yeah" next to it.

You have to throw your pleas up to admin... he is the great architect who designed the board and layout... and has control over the smiley issue. He is always open and receptive to suggestions so he may read this thread or you may want to PM him.

I have been begging since coming aboard for more smilies - at least allow more than two per post - If this board withstood page after page of bcollins drivel how can a few extra smilies here n there take up more space

Please admin - please, please please with a cherry on top ;) (see I could add some kick ass smilies to this reply and you wouldnt be able to resist- lol)

I never knew smilies could be such a hot topic. :)

We've added and changed a few smilies based on your comments. I've also increased the number of images allowed per image from two to three, but this is ripe for abuse because it affects all types of images. We've had some issues with the size of images in peoples' signatures, so we'll also be modifying the Code of Conduct to make using excessively large images a violation.

And as far as I know, admin is a boy and a Broncos fan.

Thanks for your input! :D
