Well, they do play a team 3-4 times in a row when they travel, but in a 162 game season, yes they do travel quite a bit.

See man I cant even argue. How do you argue for your team that hasnt won a title in over 100 years. At least we have one. More than charger fans can say (sorry Sparkler fans. I had to make it feel better somehow). :D

And honestly man there might be more Cubs fans here than DBack fans. You ever been to a game between those two at the BOB (it will always be the BOB)? Its like West Wrigley.

whats with chicago and the love for bears.

there should be states and cities who name thier teams after things that relate to them.

Utah Mormons

Washington Georges

Alabama Rednecks

Oh yea, many times, in fact, I was at both home playoff games in 2007 when we swept you guys and I had a HUGE 1908 sign that I carried around on a big stick for both games, Cubbies fans hated me, I was extremely annoying:D

Most teams do have it that way I think (ie. Denver Broncos. Arizona Diamondbacks, others...).

I believe the Cubs name was voted on by fans. Before that they were known under other names. Like the Chicago Colts and at one time were known as the Chicago Orphans.

The Bears got their name because the owners of the team thought that if a baseball team had the name of Cubs then a more tough and rugged football team should be the adult version of the same animal. Hence, Bears.

Ah yes I remember that series. I was working that night and pretty much all my coworkers were DBacks fans. I got crap for the rest of my shift.

Ive figured out that the Cubbies cant win here. I dont think weve won a series in Arizona in like 7 years or something.

Thats cool, how do you hate Chipper. Yunel is a beast, it's all mental with him, he's got all the tools to be one of the top SS in the game. I think he puts it together this year, oh Yunel>>Tulo. :P

HAHAHAHA. Well, you can Keep Yunel and we'll keep Troy. Our boy's got MVP written all over him...not to mention the Gold Glove he has coming his way. 65 HRs in four seasons ain't shabby either.

I don't know, your rotation is just a beast. If they pitch to potential you have at least 4 guys who could win at least 15 with 2 who could win 20 +. Even if your offense is a little suspect, I'm sure they will add at the deadline (A. Gonzalez), which would be just scary. And your pitching should make up for a lack of offense. I'm excited for my Phillies, but the injuries to the rotation to start the season is worrying me. But, Halladay should be exceptional. I LOVE BASEBALL SEASON!!!!!!

If Dice-K gets back to his form, Manager Francona has said he might have a SIX man rotation. That could be a scary thing for opposing teams to face.

One thing i've noticed about going to the Nationals games, is that no body really watches the game.

Most of the people just walk around the stadium and buy overpriced food for the majority of the time.

Glad to see the Cubs picked up right where they left off from last year.

Inconsistent offense.
Sloppy defense.
Bad starting pitching.
Bad bullpen.
Soriano swinging at every single thing he sees.

Gonna be another great year if this keeps up.
16-5 loss to Atlanta in case anyone was wondering what all this awesomeness added up to.
