Not really sure where this should go, here or ABF?
I have gotten into photography a lot lately and that is part of the reason my post per day count has gone down a little lately. Anyway, I thought I would share some of my stuff with you guys.
This was taken by a local lake. Powder Addict might recognize it.

This was taken at the above mentioned lake. Powder will definitely recognize it.
http://images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/1000-1999/1188/800/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_864008.jpg
This is just kind of an odd little abstract thing I did.
http://images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/1000-1999/1181/800/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_860340.jpg
This was taken in Glenwood Springs at night. A long exposure exercise.
http://images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/110000-114999/113900/800/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_857179.jpg
This is of an old camera that I inherited from my grandparents and the out of focus(on purpose btw) photo in the background is a photo frome their wedding.
http://images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/1000-1999/1166/800/Copyrighted_Image_Reuse_Prohibited_853216.jpg

I will post some more of my favorites later. Just thought I'd share.

Is their a feature on your camera that does the whole out of focus / in focus thing?

It's called Depth Of Field and it is controlled by the aperture of you lens. Most cameras even point and shoot cameras have some way of controling The aperture of the lens.

I love depth perception photography, especially the look of photos shot down docks to the waters edge or down train tracks(especially in sepia or B&W).

All right guys here's some more pics for ya.

This is a panorama shot which consists of three different captures stitched together in PhotoShop. The shots were taken while at work from inside an electrical substation in Grand Junction.

Here is just your average Moon picture.
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4059/4527511188_f4b5376b19_b.jpg

Here is a macro shot of a flower and a waterdrop. Just checking my lens on this one, but I think it turned out pretty good.
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4067/4526882539_84716350b1_b.jpg
This is a sunset from my front porch. I made the colors pop a little with PhotoShop.
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4018/4526882245_87da801901_o.jpg

This is a weird little thing I did on Echo Mountain. I zoomed my lens out while the shutter was open. It gives it this kinda warp speed effect. It gives some people motion sickness.

^this. we learned about this in some of my production classes. it's a nifty technique and if you are actually looking for it, it's probably in every single movie at least once.

Good stuff man, I'd say your easily 2-3 times better than I am. My problem is I don't have a lot of good source material and I don't have that great eye for a good picture. Like I said in my thread I tend to just make up for the lack of photographer skills with photoshop.
