UCLA men's basketball coaching legend John Wooden is in grave condition at a California hospital, MyFoxLA.com reports.

The Fox affiliate reports the 99-year-old Wooden had not eaten in a couple of days. UCLA has yet to confirm the report.

Wooden was dubbed "The Wizard of Westwood" for winning 10 NCAA championships, including a record seven in a row from 1967-1973.

And under Wooden, UCLA won 88 straight games from 1971-1974 and 38 consecutive NCAA tournament games from 1964-1974. Both are records.

He was UCLA's coach from 1948-1975 and compiled a 620-147 record.

Keeping him in my prayers

I didn't see a thread for the passing of the Wizard of Westwood.
Arguably the best coach in any sport ever. He was also a man who truly lived his life right.
