Good call. They were team mates with Philadelphia for 4 games during the 1993-1994 season.

Also great.....

On top of the ones mentioned, some of my personal favs.

Alex English and Dan Issel, two of the greatest scorers in NBA history.

Fat Levar and Michael Adams, great backcourt duo..... Ok I'm a Nuggets fan so sue me.

David Thompson and Bobby Jones, they only played a few seasons together but they made the Nuggets a force in both the NBA and the ABA.

Mark Agiure and Rolondo Blackman' these two gave the Nuggets problems for years.

Spud Webb and Dominique Wilkins. Not much playoff success but a lot of great highlights.

I went with playoff success with my list and of course, CHAMPIONSHIPS.

I should put my top 10 ten list with out playoff success up too.

Malone and Stockton for sure would be #1

Your first list was pretty good though. I think you're right about Stockton and Malone. Those guys played their entire careers together, and the Utah Jazz offense was based on the Malone/Stockton pick and roll. Hornacek (spelling) was a nice player, and Russell was a very good all around player for a couple years, but these guys carried this team for a long time. If it wasn't for MJ, they would have been champs. Individually, look at the accolades. They should both be considered amongst the top 25 greatest players ever, and they did all of this while playing on the same team.
