Apparently a diabetes related death. Diabetes and its causes are a major health problem in the US.

I liked what Herm said about him on SportsCenter. It as something to the tune of- "You were on the field to knock people around. That's how we played. That's how he played. Sadly, that image was transposed onto him off the field and he was not that man off the field. He was class."

Rest in peace, Mr. Tatum. And best wishes to the Tatum family.
