I know he was great at tripping over yard lines, but that guy was fast. I altered my portis jersey because I thought he was going to be the real thing. It was nice to have a guy who could make the corner and get up field. Knowshon just doesn't have either the power to be a power back or the speed to be a speedy back. He is a very oddly skilled RB. At the NFL level you can't ba a jack of all trades. I don't know how my wondering where Tatum went post turned into a Knowshon post. I guess I'm treating this like it's a blog. sorry

If anybody know's where Tatum is, let me know. I heard he might be in the UFL?

Thanks

Florida Tuskers

Bell was signed by the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League on September 3, 2009. During the week of November 19th he ran for 365 yards and set a UFL record.[6] He was waived on August 24, 2010.

Tatum Bell was a good RB. Once he was a nice prospect from Oklahoma State drafted in the 2nd round like Ben Tate, Montario Hardesty... Shanahan did not give him a lot of carries as a rookie. And in 2006 he had 5 fumbles, which is not the end of the world in my opinion, considering he had 233 carries and 24 receptions.

An interesting side of Bell is that he always had nice yards per carry. Even in Detroit, he managed to run for a 4.1 average behind that OL. 5.3 in his first two seasons in Denver, 5.7 in 2008.

But the guy was all about speed. Now he is 29 years old, though he did not have to handle a heavy workload in his career. We saw in 2008 that his burst was not the same as before but he still looked fast. Ask the Chargers.

I think Bell could still have a job in the NFL as a 3rd RB. He can catch the ball, change the pace. He would be our fastest RB. Moreno, Maroney and Bell. I would be okay with that. Since he still has fresh legs, I imagine he can regain some of his old speed with proper training during an offseason.

People also said Michael Vick wasn't fast anymore.

He rushed for 100 yards last week.

Last time Denver came to Arizona we sat with two girls who flew in from Denver for the game by themselves. These chicks were die hards. They altered the song "Ring my Bell" to either Tatum or Michael ( Mike Bell).

I always liked Tatum, I wish him the best wherever he's at.

I still don't get how he's out of the NFL... he's done reasonably well wherever he's gone.

I personally can't laugh at tatum for selling cell phones. The man is working and I'm sure going from pro football player to cell phone sales man eats him up. I wish him the best and respect him for not ripping off banks or selling dope. He made some bad choices but I hope he does get another shot and writes a book about it.

I think the way he came in and performed for us in 2008 when all the other RBs got hurt, he at least deserved to be invited to camp to compete for a job.

Exactly considering that turd LaMont made the roster over him. Wish McDaniels would have game him a chance because Tatum would have been a great speed back for us.
