Talking to some Pats fan, they won't miss him at all, can get a few INT's, but bad tackler.

Solid pickup though.

I guess picking up a 2x Probowl Safety just to add depth isnt a bad thing. :coffee:

Solid pickup though.Carolina fans did not have many good things to say about Peppers either.

Meriweather gives the Bears what they are looking for in a FS. He produces turnovers, 12 picks in the last 3 years, fourth most by a safety over that span, 27 passes defended and 4 forced fumbles. Very solid pickup indeed.

That's because he wanted too much $$

He's a good ballhawk, but doesn't tackle well, good pickup probably, but nothing to get overly excited about.

Meriweather is one of the most overrated, if not the most overrated player in the NFL. He's not very good at all.

I didn't want him, we're pretty deep at S, and i'd like to see how Moore does this year.

And he plays the same spot as Moore, so no.
