So as some of you know, I have season tickets to the Broncos games.

I also used to work in the video game industry.

As a result, I have a few pictures (35,000 actually) on my hard drive.

Sadly, a good chunk of these are duplicate images and they're all disorganized all over my hard drive.

I've decided to try to clean it up a bit.

I've been looking for freeware/shareware that will:

A) Help me find duplicate pictures.

B) Has good image management options, like Picasa has.

C) That has a good tagging system, preferably with multiple tiers for tags.

For example, here's a picture (http://gametramp.com/tags.jpg) of a program has that feature (but for some reason doesn't always find all the pics it should).

If anyone has a recommendation for accomplishing these tasks, I'd appreciate it. I'd really like a one-stop-shop typed program that had good features, good duplicate detection, and a very robust and solid tag system.

Any ideas?

Check out imatch. Seems pretty close to what you're looking for.

Thanks, Yardo.

What happens after the 30 day trial is over? It just locks up and won't work? Will I be able to download another copy of it like I do Winzip?

It's a paid for software so you would need to purchase a license. I'm not sure you'll find an open-source software that can manage the amount of images you're talking about.

Do a search for graphic files, save the file names into a file and send them to me. I will data base the results so you can do searches and ordering.

PM me and I will give you my email address.

This is one of the many hats I wear. :D

I appreciate the offer of doing it for me, but that's not a long-term solution.

I need to be able to do this on my own and learn how to do it. I somehow doubt I'm going to stop attending football functions or stop taking pictures of it.

Well, actually I was going to write you a utility .exe (written in the Visual Environment) that would let you do it over and over at leisure.

How fast do you want need it?
