This game could go a long way too achieving that 5 seed that I had thought was impossible a week or two ago. Would also in that case be a preview of a potential first round series with the Clips.

Go Nuggets!!

Doubt we get the 5th seed. Memphis has an easy schedule.

Would currently have to drop to 8 to get Spurs. I'll pass.

Great 1st Qtr. Great team passing, ball movement has been phenomenal.

Will probably fairly close at halftime. Clips aernt going to shoot 3/15 every quarter.

As Karl would say, they are good turnovers. Trying to make something happen and push the offense.

I don't have a problem with it. I have a problem with the defense after the turnover.

InElwayWeTrust
04-18-2012, 06:51 PM
And now it's a 2 point game.

I love pushing the pace, and throwing long passes, that's how we win.

But when the other team is back, you can't do that. We did it twice in a row, and it resulted in wide open 3s off turnovers and here we are.

Don't want to play Lakers for that reason either. NBA won't allow them to lose to a small market team with no star.

Yeah, at least CP3, Kobe, Lebron, ect... Are good. They get the calls because theyre good.

Blake Griffin sucks at everything except dunking but gets any call he wants.

He has to be the most overrated player I've ever seen.

I'm so sick of Blake Griffin. The most overhyped, 1 dimensional player the NBA has seen.

Anger or serious? Because I honestly feel that way. Only reason I pay attention is because I am addicted to the Nuggets. You take them away and I'm done with the NBA. I was rooting for the lockout.

InElwayWeTrust
04-18-2012, 08:42 PM
Yeah, 7th seed it is...

We have to avoid the Thunder at all costs. Any other team, we have a chance. Not against the thunder. Zero, none. I love the Nuggs but the Thunder would throw us around like unwanted stepchildren. I actually think we got a better chance at winning a series against the Spurs, than winning a single game vs OKC.

It would actually be preferable if refs didn't impact games by favoring stars and called games correctly.

Not really sure why everyone thinks we match up so well with Spurs either. Only benefit their is they won't get the calls of either L.A. Team.

Yeah but they use walkers and wheelchairs to get to the game. And if the games too late it could run past their bedtime. Also, if the country kitchen buffet is closed they could starve and forfeit the series.

In other words, we could run their old butts out of the gym. We wouldn't be the favorites, but we'd have a much better chance than against OKC.

True. I'm having a hard time being real optimistic against any of the four. But if we are healthy minus chandler then who knows.

Spurs- If we can get running, and not play their style of basketball, we have a chance. We can drag the series out, and they can get worn down due to their old age and we could upset them much like Memphis last year.

Lakers- We usually play pretty well against kobe, AAA gives him trouble and at least prevents him from going off. Their bigs always destroy us, but if we can be Bynum in foul trouble early we could steal a few games and make it a series, then anything can happen.

Thunder- We have no answer for Durant or Westbrook, as shown when they put up 91 by themselves. Also, they are really long and block a lot of shots (especially Ibaka). Everytime we get blocked we get less aggressive, and it screws us. This would happen all the time, especially to Ty.

Basically, ending in a sweep or maybe 4-1 and we'd have to see Westbrooks ugly, punk mug the entire way.

Please no OKC!!

Lawson with a big 4th quarter. He kept us going. Still in major need for someone who can actually close a game out though. When the Nuggets get tough the Nuggets fold. We have no one who can do it. Still feel the same about the Clippers. They are not scary. We need them in the first round. And what about Kenyon Martin. Huge plays late in the game. And Kenneth Faried got dunked on by the human highlight reel. Atleast he had the balls to contest a Blake Griffen dunk. Unlike many players who step out the way when he has the ball.

The Nuggets are something like 33-21 with Gallo. He's missed a lot of time and still isn't 100%, but the team is better when he's out there.

johnlimburg
04-19-2012, 11:06 PM
Yes when Gallo is out there and attacking then he is a great asset to the team. He is like Ty Lawson. When they lay back and don't attack the defense the team really struggles. When we play in the playoffs Ty and Gallo will have to be aggresive or we will have no shot.

And also good thing Houston lost again. They look to be fading fast but are still in the thick of it. However I see them finishing poorly after there recent bad form. And the Suns pulled out a massive win against the Clippers. So now it looks like they are back to form and looking to make a push to finish out the season. This should be an interesting finish.

We beat the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, there is no way they can pass us up.

Them and Utah are 1 1/2 games behind us.....but also have played 1 more game. So, that's good.

Houston is 2 1/2 behind us and also have played 1 more game. So, we are in very good shape against them.

It'll be hard for us not to make the playoffs at this point.
