Personally I think he's a better fit for a 4-3, but it gives them good depth.

Mcbeans awful, probably just a camp cut

I wanted us to cut him for the last 2-3 and wondered how he kept making the team

I went on the Ravens board and they think he's just a camp cut too

I was never too fond of him either, but I think he plays better in a 4-3.

I bet he'll look good over there, although losing Suggs might mess their whole world up on D

Not sure if this is where this goes.

I guess they feel we can do without him.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) The Baltimore Ravens have signed defensive tackle Ryan McBean, who will sit out the first six games of the season for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.

Denver withdrew his $1.272 million restricted free agent tender following his suspension, making McBean a free agent.

The former Denver Bronco was added for depth along the defensive line and signed a one-year contract.

The Ravens lost defensive end Cory Redding and defensive tackle Brandon McKinney during free agency to the Indianapolis Colts. Over the past week, the Ravens have signed McBean and another veteran defensive tackle, Ma'ake Kemoeatu.

McBean had 19 tackles and four sacks last season for the Broncos.

Cornerback Cary Williams has signed his $1.927 million second-round restricted tender.

GOOD BYE AND DO NOT LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON THE WAY OUT!!!

Seriously tired of his stupid penalties and lack of plays.

He's going to be suspended for like 6 games isn't he?

He settled the lawsuit and is suspended 3 games.

Great addition. He can teach some of the younger players the proper way to execute a face mask penalty during key moments...
