Outman vs Lohse (L 3-9)
Francis vs Kelly (W 3-2)
Guthrie vs Wainwright

Game 1: Outman and the pen get shelled, Colvin and Rosario go deep for the only runs. Outman will probably lose his rotation spot now.

Game 2: Francis gives up a 2-run bomb in the first, but recovers to throw 5 innings with no additional runs. Colvin jacks a 3-run blast in the 3rd and that ends the scoring of the night. Betancourt picks up his 13th save.

-Tracy has announced he is going to give the starters a higher pitch limit.
-This is a chance that Guthrie is making his last start for the Rox.
-Helton is battling a hip injury that is ruining his leg kick, thus hurting his batting. Fowler is battling a lat injury and was only used as a late game replacement so he can get healthy. He is day-to-day.
-Colvin and CarGo are raking. In the last 18 games, Colvin is hitting .358, 7 HR, 22 RBI. CarGo has an 11-game hitting streak.
-Francis is now above Ubaldo ThrowsatTulo-nez for 3rd on the Rockies all-time wins. He is behind Jason Jennings by 1 game for 2nd place.

Josh Outman was not a good trade for the Rockies. He seems to be sub par this season imo.

Our only good trade was for Colvin and LeMahieu. Everything else has been a backfire.

What position does DJ play again?

2B is his natural one, but he can play 3B in a pinch.

The Chatwood trade was a bit of a wash, neither team is real happy . But I agree, bad year of trades.

I was disappointed that we traded Colvin to you guys, but it's worked out well for both teams

This is by far the slowest thread for a series this year. Not much excitement to the series though.

No offense, but howso? Stewart is hitting 0.001 over the mendoza line and Casey Weathers is sporting a 4.64 ERA in AA with more walks than strikeouts.
