Seriously......nothing against the San Francisco fans, who are probably loving what's happened so far (3 and 0 with a chance to win it all tonight), and whose team is playing very solid ball.....but this is one of the worst World Series I've watched, make that, tried to watch. I've missed a lot of it, because nothing seems to be happening from the sense of a real competitive battle, and unfortunately I missed most of game one when Sandoval cranked out 3 homers. That is exciting, so I apologize for downplaying it.

But what is going on with The Tigers? They look like rookies out there, swinging at bad pitches, and not able to make anythng happen. I feel for them, because they earned their way to The Dance.

And if San Fran wins it all, which it appears they will, good for them for winning 2 in 3 years, mostly with pitching. Good ole basic baseball can win. Good pitching, D and some timely hitting still has a place.

I'm local to the Giants and it's been fun watching all the fans come out of the woodworks out here. I mean.. there are WS parties going on!!!!

Anywho, here's the part that cracks me up. Barry Bonds played for them for years. Hit so many homeruns and won NOTHING! Now, possibly 2 WS wins in 3 years!?!?!? Awesome!!

There are so many Giants bandwagon fans, or fans who just don't watch many games all season who are now claiming to be die-hard. It's quite humorous.

Go Tigers!

Lol baseball is dying... No one even cares about the World Series except the few fans involved. And like BH3233 said they only care now, they didn't all year.

FOX was cringing when this matchup happened. Deep down they wanted the Yankees and Cardinals or either of the two to make it. But these teams are not very marketable, despite having the triple crown winner and arguably the best pitcher in the game. This series is for the purists only.

Kinda reminds me of the way the Rockies tore up everyone in the playoffs, till they met the Red Sox...

Regardless....congrats to The Giants!! Anytime you sweep the WS, you deserve it!

What a scrappy bunch.......tons of character!!

Hate the Giants. Ugh. Havin the huge layoff after a sweep kills ya. Ask the 07 Rockies and 11 Tigers. Gotta ride the momentum, and that puts a halt to it.

I visited AT&T Park when I was in the States, so I guess vicariously I am happy the Giants won!

It's good for the economy in the bay area, that's about it.I thought it was a boring series as well.
