I figure there's enough fans here to warrant its own "official" thread to start off this tennis season.

Aussie Open going on right now, i'm watching Stosur about to lose in the second round after having 2 match points up 5-2 in the third set.

And yep she just lost on a double fault. That's tough.

Nice thing about the aussie/french/wimbledon is that it's often on after i'm done work for the night so I get to go home and watch Live tennis. ;)

At first I saw a tennis thread and thought it was going to include picture then I relized it was in fantasy/other sports group and then I was sad because there were no pictures :P

But seriously I think tennis I can enjoy playing but it is painful to watch :(

I enjoy watching tennis. Especially the top men in the world. Always very exciting. I am looking forward to Bernard Tomic and Roger Federer. Should be interesting. Tomic beat the world number 1 in the lead up and Federer is still one of the best and I love watching him play. That Sam Stosur choke job was laughable though. In front of her home crowd with two chances to serve for the game. The light down the center of the court seemed to really affect her. She is meantally weak though.

I like Tennis, it's one of many sports I enjoy. My favorite Tennis players is Sharapova, Ivanovic, and Nadal.

Sadly Nadal isn't playing in the Australian open, but he will be back at the Chilean Open.
Maria is beasting it up, Ana is also winning.

Hope Maria and Ana make it to the finals. I always like it when my favorites play each other(Broncos-Packers)(GSP-Silva one can wish right?)

I used to really find tennis boring. But then I started to play it and understand the intricacies of the game and i've loved it the past few years.

When you get into a match, it's super suspenseful and it's great. The commercials are short also.

I don't like having to be up this late to watch the Aussie Open though. It always begins whenever school starts back up and it absolutely kills my sleep schedule haha.

That was a real good match. I like it when Fed gets a bit animated.

go Li Na vs Azarenka and go Murray vs Djokovic

Murray better beat the joker.

I'm about sick of the Joker tbh.

I wish some of the second tier players like Del Potro, Tsonga, Monfils, and Wawrinka would reach full potential and be able to compete with the big 3 (or 4 when Nadal is in there) so there could be some diversity in the men's game.

I wish Nadal could stay healthy.. it's a shame.

and yes it would be nice if a few more of those 'second tier' guys kind of rose up. Tsonga would be fun to watch if he ever pulled it all together.

that or MILOS RAONIC! haha

He's my favorite male tennis player, I don't watch the men play unless Nadal or Agassi is playing(in he retired), it sucks not having someone to root for. Honestly he should stay out until he is at full health. Not 50%, win his first event back, then injured again.

Djokovic looks out of it. we'll see if he can come back. I don't think he'll be able too.

Nadal beats Federer again.
He didn't apologize this time for the dominance.

Depends on if he can stay healthy and if he can beat Novak and Andy.
