Striped and shiny is never a good option for a suit. Top draft picks (top l-r) James Farrior, Michael Booker, Darrell Russell, Orlando Pace, and Paul Tagliabue, (bottom l-r) Yatil Green, Shawn Springs, Bryant Westbrook and Tom Knight on April 13, 1997.

Peyton Manning's tie tastes apparently didn't change much. Is that the same tie as the one from 1998 but in a different color? Brother Eli's isn't much better at the 2004 draft. (Photo by Chris Trotman/Getty Images)

Okay, i'm no fashion expert. But some of these suits weren't that bad all. A lot of these stripped suits looked good. The guy reviewing has pretty much no taste. The Peyton tie in the 2nd one wasn't even bad, it matched the suit and didn't stick out as much as his draft day tie. LT actually pulled off the gold shirt and tie. I think the Yahoo! writer is just mad that he can't pull of some of these styles. He needs to learn some men's fashion. I agree some are just bad, but others not at all.

The Favre picture is the best. Holy smokes can you say hicks. My sisters family still live this way in Missouri. I love the Jorts, the gun, the wood paneling, the home made draft day shirts, the hair styles and that phone. But that was the early 90's for ya.

But again, Missouri hasn't fully embraced today's styles.

some of them are bad, but i think RG3 looks sharp, so did Reggie Bush. idk i think the writer just hates all things flashy
