If so do you think they have a chance at knocking out Miami? I think POP has coached his butt off so far but Game 6 is going to be hard because Wade and James will be giving everything they got.

From OH, so I'm locked in as a Cavs fan (you're welcome by the way, and you know why), but the Spurs have been my second favorite team for years now. I love everything about that franchise. I love the fact that your head coach is a former intel officer. I love the fact that they play the game the way it was meant to be played. I love that you have 3 hall of famers, and not one of them is a self centered jerk off.

And most importantly I love the fact that the Spurs didn't have to rip the hearts out of two other cities to build their roster.;) Go Spurs.

Oh and the only guy who can beat the Spurs now is the 14th man, if you know what I'm sayin.

I'm a anyone-but-the-Heat fan once the Lakers are out so I guess you could call me a Spurs fan..

Yes, I do think they can take one in Miami, definitely. Probably in 7, the Heat have too much talent to fade away immediately when faced with elimination. But the Spurs will prevail in the end (I hope).

Yea Danny Green has certainly been a pleasant surprise with his 3 point clinics but I happen to be a Cavs supporter because being from NJ, I am a big big fan of Kyrie Irving and would love to see Cleveland draft Victor Oladipo out of Indiana but we all know it will most likely be Nerlens Noel. I also think Cleveland fans in sports in general deserve to know what it is like to experience joy for once. Now about the series, Miami is definitely the team that disgusts me most in the entire NBA. They have the fakest fans and the big 3 are so arrogant. LeBron has absolutely no clue how badly he devastated the Cavaliers and their loyal fan base especially growing up in the state of Ohio it had to sting them twice as hard. I just find it really unbelievable how a team that consists of 3 members from our USA Mens Olympic Basketball Gold Winning Team needs so much assistance from the referees with all the phantom fouls that have been getting called against all the Heat's opponents throughout these 2013 NBA Playoffs and then the same refs turn a blind eye to all the flopping these primadonnas deliver. The Spurs built their unit from the ground up the old fashioned way and play pure fundamental basketball with honor and class.

And the OT officiating plus Van Gundy's response about it is why I hate the NBA.

It was a classic that probably can't be repeated in game 7. Hope so though.

Still can't believe San Antonio choked like that.

I think Ray Allen hitting that big 3 with 3 seconds left had as much to do with it as anything. I wouldn't say the Spurs choked it away. That was a huge shot by Allen.

Yeah. Ginobili and Leonard missed a free throw, but guys miss free throws late all the time. That game still should have been out of reach. And even with Popovich taking Duncan out of the game, the odds that the Heat would get two offensive rebounds and make both 3 pointers off of those rebounds are pretty slim. The Heat basically needed a miracle, and they got one.

Wow.

Real solid performance by Manu Ginobilli.

Time to throw in the towel buddy.

I hope some people stop hating on LeBron. He dominated game 7. Hope they go back2back2back next year.

Love seeing Birdman with the trophy :)

I love seeing me with a trophy too.... Are they sending me one to???? :P

I think the only reason I love watching the heat win is because it makes so many people mad. But I will announce I don't really like watching the NBA. Usually just turn in for the finals and that is even if I remember they are on.

Seriously with this?

Dude got busted for child porn all over his house. He is a disgrace to the human race.

Shouldn't even be allowed in the NBA.

I'm not an NBA fan but looking from the outside I think its pretty sad whats happened with the Heat and NBA in general. Can Miami fans really celebrate this title win ?

They threw their wallet at some of the best players in the league - Bosh, James and Ray Allen.

Whats such a great achievement of buying all the best players from other teams ?

So Miami go and steal away all the best players in the league and they have won the title the last 2 years, probably will win it again next year. What a surprise, and how boring.

Great coaching job ! LOL

The NFL have it right in so many ways.

Yeah, but there were no charges filed or an arrest. It never came out what it was. Always liked him as a nug on the court anyway. Certainly don't condone that kind of stuff, but if he would've went to prison for it it would've been a different story.

Well they barely won. It's not really any different than baseball.

It doesn't say much for Baseball either then.

I don't mean to be a jerk but it reminds me of Spanish Soccer. Barcelona and Real Madrid finish about 30 points ahead of everyone else year after year, they get about 80 % of the TV money and just buy all the best players.

I just think its a very poor reflection on that particular sport.

Yeah definitely. I don't particularly like either sport, I hate baseball actually. I just like to play basketball so I tune into some of the playoffs and the finals every year. Football is pretty much the perfect model. Most teams have a competitive chance.

It is redundant being able to predict with stunning accuracy at least one of the two teams that will play in the NBA Finals, but the NBA's always been like that. When you're dealing with a 12 or 13 man roster, 5 of which playing most of the game, it only takes two or three really good players to make a dominant team. So in a league where players migrate like birds to places like LA or Miami, you end up with all star teams. And as if that wasn't enough, you have teams trading all time greats for cash, junk, and draft picks. That's why the NFL will always stomp the NBA in popularity. Few casual fans want to watch something that isn't competitive until the championship game(s).

Looking back on it all though, I don't blame LeBron. I mean, I despise Chris Bosh, but it's different with LeBron. Just three years ago, people thought Carmelo Anthony was a better player than LeBron. Two years ago people thought Kevin Durant was a better player. And one year ago, people said Kobe Bryant was the better player. Ten years from now, there is going to be a sizable gap between LeBron and those three players. He's doing the same stuff he did in Cleveland six years ago. lol. If he was still in Cleveland, people would still be comparing him to Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh and D Wade would be getting eliminated from the first round of the playoffs.

Well the Brooklyn Nets might have a shot now with getting KG, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry.
