Better coaching! Plain and simple, better coaching. It may take Coughlin getting fired for that team to turn it around. I don't know though.

Look at Brandon Jacobs run the ball like it's 2010.

Well, the run game is working. Just be patient and don't force it. I also noticed that Randle was not running the route correctly. Just keep throwing it to Cruz or Nicks when you do throw.

Even the most elite players have off seasons mentally. I am not calling Eli elite, but he could be having an off season mentally. If I am the Giants GM, I get Eli some sports psychologist or some help. Look at the same happening in Pittsburgh, Big Ben is doing the same thing.

Well, as Sheli will tell you, you can't spell "Elite" without "Eli".

I've never been a huge fan of his. But I'd like to see him get his head straight and help his team.

I agree with you about coaching though, as the coach it's your job to put your QB in a position to win especially when the QB is struggling.

They need a new OC or HC. It's obvious that Eli and the offense are struggling. If they can't recognize this and correct is, someone needs to go.

I can't believe the NFL will penalize Brandon Marshall for wearing the green shoes that he is wearing in honor of Mental Health Awareness Week. He had gotten so much better since he's been treated for his illness and you would think the NFL would support this. He's not showboating for his own glory.

Sometimes I hate Roger Goodell.

Brandon really has come a long ways!!!!

But, to your point, the NFL has a dress code. Just because Brandon is supporting his personal cause does not give him a pass. What stops any player from trying to support any cause or claiming it's a personal cause, nefarious or good, and crying out "it's my cause!!".

That being said... yes, Roger is quite over the top a lot.

"Every letter notifying the player of a fine indicates where the fine money goes. I have gotten feedback from players who don't like writing the check to the NFL, but they are pleased to know it does not go back into our coffers but to charitable organizations."

Didn't know that. I'm glad you let me know that. Of course I wouldn't mind that. Why would I?

I just thought he was trying to do something good and he was being punished for it. That's all.

wow the refs used common sense on the 'player gave himself up' play

In the spirit of the rules that was the right call - or maybe I just want this to be a closer game I dunno

well you can't tell from that clip - but you might be right

He is touched on the shoulder almost at the exact time the ball hits the ground first ....... in super slow it might be out before... it's close tho!

Why do the Giants keep slipping? bad field?

What did he say? It was all over twitter.

He was awarded player of the game and got to sit down with Deon Rich Eisen Marshall Faulk mike Irving. You know how they have you press your hand into the clay. And they give a bag of gag gifts to the player of the game....... well Marshall brought his own bag up to give gifts of his own to the TV crew including green ties to support mental illness awareness. And some other stuff

But the reason why I posted what I did was because just listening to him last night compared to the Marshall we knew when he was a Bronco - was night and day. He acknowledged how he didn't have it together back then and with the 'right' help he now does. And listening to him seems as though he does have it together now.

Even when he was in Denver he was always smiling and was a fun guy. For some reason he got paranoid about stuff or whatever was wrong with him 'mentally' and he developed this attitude that led to his departure. JMD may have contributed who knows. Of course it wasn't just team disposition - he had off the field things going on.

He's so easy to like with his smile and his planned media unique pressers. Like the Xmas tree a few years ago - that was so funny. I've always loved how he played. The Beast! Such a shame it didn't work out here.

Imagine Demaryius and Brandon out wide and Welker and Julius at slot and TE. ........... man lol
