The seahawks I believe made the playoffs with a 7-9 record. Could this division diminish that?

Nope never gonna happen. 7-9 IMO is the lowest it will ever go.

Technically if every game in a division ended in a tie, a team could make the playoffs at 0-10-6.

A slightly more likely scenario is every team in a division wins one game against each of their division rivals, then there could be a 3-13 team in the playoffs.

8 gets a tie, 9 wins it outright.

It may very well happen. Dallas seems to be the best of them, they may get to 8 or 9. I do think 8 actually would win it with sole possession though. The Giants are awful, the Skins aren't much better and Philly hasn't beaten anyone but those 2. I believe as it stands now the East has 2 wins outside of divisional games between the 4 teams, that's putrid.

You know, I never thought about it before, but that is possible! You could have a 0 win team not only make the playoffs, but HOST a game! That needs to be the topic of a thread. I also have to think that 7-9 is as low as it will ever go, but heck who knows.
As far as the NFC East, there is a lot of talent there but they cant seem to get it together so I dunno. Lets just say its because its their year to play the AFC West so they got a "black eye" right off the start! LOL

The cowboys will win the division and finish over .500. Romo is playing great football right now, as long as the defense holds up they'll be fine
