JesseH

Good thing our running game has been coming along, or else this might be the Rams game all over again. Manning looks horrible, but the bills are bringing the pressure.

one_bad_55
12-07-2014, 03:57 PM
I called that play before they ran it. Can you imagine that we threw that pass? Predictable............or what?

I don't think that was entirely Mannings fault. DT could have adjusted.

It was a fun ride, but Manning's arm is gone. It sucks but he isn't the same guy we had the last two years
That wasn't even an arm problem, he put it out in front of Thomas. Gilmore just played great press coverage and disrupted the route. Thomas has to get off the press sooner

bronco30

I really believe Manning's a rhythm passer. Lack of passing really affecting his rhythm. He needs to adjust to this like everybody.

hockey878
12-07-2014, 03:58 PM
Hence why people are mad. Most QBs know to check down if a WR is covered.

people also get ticked when he throws short of the sticks on 3rd down though. Not a great thow, but I can live with him taking a shot with DT one on one. Gilmore just played that perfectly

Bronco51
12-07-2014, 03:58 PM

That would only work against Orton, and the Raiders.

I know people are scream at peyton for that one. But that was great coverage

Dude PM is looking awful on accuracy all year.

He overthrows balls when he should throw them short (this last pick) and he underthrows balls he should throw past the WR.

His short game is good today but a few games this year he has struggled on the short passes.

I would still prefer PM over ALLOT of QBs, I just do not think he is in the same level as Rodgers or Brady anymore

bronco30

No dude Manning fault all the way.

dbjeff

stop going down the field if you don't need too, I would of settle for a FG

He threw it five yards past the first down marker. You can argue he shouldn't have thrown the ball into coverage, but you can't argue that he was launching it down field unnecessarily.

Are you even watching the game?

Peyton either running his WR's into big hits or throwing ints today. It's like the running game is some new guy coming in on his territory and he's got show he's still the man.

We use to win because of Manning. Today we are winning in spite of him. I'll be surprised if he returns after this season. He clearly isn't the QB he was last year.

gtown53
12-07-2014, 04:01 PM
That's not dt's fault at all, his job is to get separation. That was a horrible throw, absolutely pathetic actually. The Manning cult will blame everything but him though.

This.

Manning's problems have ZERO to do with DT.

Frenchy180

He didn't throw it right to a defender. He threw it to a spot that was occupied by neither the defender nor DT when the ball was thrown. Both players were at the 30 when the ball was released.

I'm not going to bother attempting to reason anything that isn't purely fact with you because it's clear you have an agenda, but it's a fact he didn't throw it right to a defender.

Jeez, let's not overreact. People were calling Brady done after Week 4 and calling for the Garoppolo era.

Yes, Peyton's having a poor game and has been somewhat off all year. It's part rhythm, true. But it's also that his sideline fades are OVERPLAYED and every friggin team knows that's like 50% of his passes. He needs a different play tree pronto.

Give Peyton easy slants and checkdowns to build rhythm (it worked in the Raiders game), but don't have him throw deep bombs cold or off the same play tree.

Sound a lot like Jerry Jones...I hope he truly does not believe that, we need CJ to make this playoff push.

Thats fine. We all mess up. I'm not thrilled with the result. It wasn't a great throw. But how many times do we see DT beat the press in that situation? And if he had, it might've been a TD. Gilmore played it perfect. So of course in hindsight it was horrible. Thats my only point.

I agree but the trend lately is that play doesn't work because it has become predictable. Unless the defender bites big time it's just hoping for luck to prevail because it's just getting thrown up for a fight. I don't like taking that chance especially with a lead.

Brady had a bad few weeks. Manning has been bad all year even when he has put up big numbers

people need to keep in mind that Manning's "bad games" are most QBs "pretty good" games. Sure, he struggled the last couple weeks, but there's also been opportunity for more scores. Tamme and DT dropped TD passes last week, Tamme fumbled this time, etc.

Manning honestly had three horrible statistical games this year. The Rams, Chiefs, and this game vs. The Bills. We are still showing balance and looking as though we'll win 2 out of those 3. He's allowed to have bad game. Yeah, I'm worried a little, but I find it hard to believe he got old overnight. He was dominating early this year. Even looked good against Oakland and Miami recently. Relax people ... We still got a top 3 QB here.

So relieving to know we have a kicker that can actually, well, kick.

And PFM has been soooo off lately. He has not been playing like a top 10 QB since that San Diego game.

Of all the facets of our teM, passing O, passing D, rushing O, rushing D and ST, out passing O has been the biggest weakness these pass 3 or so games. Insane to think about that considering the public perception of this teams identity as elite in the air.

I think that's best case scenario, although I think we could get a kings ransom from a bottom dweller. Receiving TEs are all the craze right now. If we could use it to improve blocking that would be awesome.

He threw what, almost 700 passes last year? How many in the preseason, practice and TC? OTA's? There's only a certain number of throws in a players arm.

He also played bad against the raiders, bad against the Jets. Didn't have a superb game against Indy.

His deep ball has been gone all year.

I think part of the reason that Manning has been so off is that it may be hard to throw when he's out of rhythm when we're running it so much. It also may be taking a toll with having the bye so early. I don't know. One doesn't just not know how to throw all of a sudden,
