We are planning on coming to Denver in Sept for the first game against the Ravens. as I am looking for tickets and just getting an idea of how much we are looking at I am wondering how do tickets work I see a lot of pre sales of tickets by section and row but not by seat. how do you know which seat you are getting?

if anyone can answer this for me that would be greatly appreciated

thank you

Well, you can wait til tickets go on sale probably in the next month or 2, and try to get them that way, or you can go to stubhub or ticket exchange which are the 2 most legit places to get tickets outside of ticketmaster. And as for the row, I believe on stubhub, it says what seat it is, as well as the section and row number. On ticket exchange, I don't believe it does, until maybe when you get to the payment stage or afterwards. Not sure. And the longer you wait, the more the price drops. Cheapest for that game right now is about 180 a ticket I believe, and it will drop to probably 150 in the next 2 months. So just keep an eye out and good luck. :salute:

Where are you looking for seats? What website, I mean?

All seats for Bronco games should be listed by section, row, and seat.

101/4/1&2 for example. Section 101, row 4, seats 1&2.

I would steer clear of any listing without specific seats. Guessing your looking at an ebay listing, by someone who does not know how to properly list an item. I see this every day there.

If this is the case, you can ask the seller, and he or she should have the specific seat info you need.

But just about anywhere else, that's legitimate at least, should have the specific seat listed as well as the section and row.

I went to a Cowboys preseason game a few years ago (old stadium)

In the PL someone was selling his tickets.

One of the folks in front of me stopped and bought them.

I went in and was seated and was watcthing some of the players on the field when those folks showed up and sat down.

About ten minutes later some more folks did the same thing and the ushers (for lack of a better term) came down and sorted it out the first folks were asked to come with them.

About 15 minute later another couple had the same issue. They were escorted out.

With the advent of great digital printers you can get a legit pair and make a bunch of copies to have a friend sell. Then come in with the real pair and get your seats. All the while pocketing some change for the trouble.

I would not buy from anyone but the Broncos website. Or in person from the ticket booth. That way you KNOW for certain you are getting legit tickets.

I have never bought or sold my tickets on Ticketmaster or the Exchange, so forgive my ignorance.

But I just looked at tickets for this year, and sure enough, they are only listed by section and row. No listing had the specific seats. At least that I saw, and I looked at several games and sections. Scanned hundreds of options, and tried to find more info on over a dozen of them.

I can buy 4 seats in the 16th row of my section, (for example) for just the Ravens game, but no idea what seats. Only a guarantee that they will be together.

None of them gave me a seat number, even at checkout.

The only thing I can figure, is that it's because nobody actually has the tickets in hand. On every listing it says that.

Once the tickets are actually printed, and sent out, I am guessing that at that time they will list the seats also.

I just know that in the past I have looked there to see what my seats might bring if I should do the unthinkable. Always, ALWAYS the specific seats were listed. However, I always looked with just days to go before a game. (Usually playoff games after seeing how much they are going for on the news.)

I am sure of this because I did this for several seats around me for the Colts playoff game last year, and asked several of those people if they actually paid the prices that I saw. I wrote down several seats on a small note, with the prices, and took it to the game.

Again, I don't use the site to transact, but there must be a way a buyer can contact the seller and find out what seat your buying before you checkout.

I find it hard to believe Ticketmaster doesn't let you at least know, let alone choose, which seats you want. Yet, that's what I saw….. It HAS to be because it the offseason.

I guess it's kinda taking a shot in the dark, at least if you care where you are in a row of seats, to buy at this time of year.

I did notice there's a phone number at the bottom of one of the screens somewhere along the way at the Exchange. The people there should be able to tell you the seat numbers. At least I would think so.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Good luck on the hunt!

Thanks so much for the feedback. I'm trying to buy tickets as part of our honeymoon but due to me having a heart condition and anxiety about going to a NFL game I'm really cautious about where we are sitting and would prefer to be close enough to the exit and stairs rather then trying to jump over people's legs if I need to go for a moment. I'll probably wait for August to see if ticketmaster starts showing the seat numbers.

Thanks again

No problem, Menina.

My seat is close to an exit, and I have easy access if I need to get out in a hurry, so I understand.

With a heart condition, you might be able to score seats in a Handicapped row. They have them all over the stadium. Close to ramps and tunnels, those sound like what your looking for.

Again, I am not sure how people go about getting Handicapped row tickets, but there must be a process people go thru to get them. I think I would call the ticket office directly if I were you, and ask them about that possibility.

The ADA ticket number is; 720-258-3337.

It can't hurt to ask…. :thumb:

Good luck!

I recently purchased tickets for a few games via NFL ticket exchange (ticketmaster). On all my purchases it showed me the section, row and seat numbers as well as the date I should receive my ticket.

These tickets are at a marked up price as I think JWinn has mentioned. I guess each person has to decide if they're happy to pay the price asked. ( I was, I mean it's the greatest game on earth. And it'll be the freaking Broncos vs packers).

My ticket cost me $380 on the 40 line and of course I'll be sat a mile up, as I've been told it's the only way to experience the sports authority field.
Down side to ticket masters NFL exchange is they charge a handling fee, mine was $60 putting total cost to $440.
Plus side is they're the nfl official ticket sellers, so I don't expect I'll have any problems with fraud.

Hope you get to the game and have a great time, I know I can't wait for my visit.

You purchased them the right way. NFL Ticket Exchange are guaranteed seats. All the tickets on there now are season ticket holders selling specific games. (as the general public tickets aren't for sale yet) I have sat in a wide array of places in the stadium and I think you are gonna have a killer time. Enjoy the game!!!

P.S. I think the "Handling Fee" is their percentage of the ticket that they take...not sure though.
