I plan on using the light rail for the Vikes/Bronco game. What is the best line or stop to get off for attending the game?

There are maps at the light rail stations and there is information on the rtd Website http://www.rtd-denver.com/LightRail_Map.shtml

Personally, I like taking the Broncos bus. I get on it at 9 mile station. It's 8 bucks round trip and takes you right to the front of the stadium. If you take the light rail there is a bit of a walk

I always just followed the crowd. If your using light rail on game day, your going to see hundreds of other fans all dressed in orange and blue, you will certainly know when you've arrived. As VenomousDB mentioned though, it's a bit of a walk once you arrive. The only other transportation I've ever used is Taxi, but light rail the last three times, and I like the light rail.

The C, E and W lines service the Sports Authority Field at Mile High Station (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sports_Authority_Field_at_Mile_High_(RTD)). Which line you'd take would depend on where you're coming from, of course. As the others have said, once you get off, just follow the crowd of people.

If, for whatever reason, you prefer taking the D, F or H lines (or got on them by accident), you can get off at the Colfax at Auraria Station (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colfax_at_Auraria_(RTD)) and walk to the stadium. It's not that far unless you're disabled, super out of shape or just hate walking. There's probably bus service from that station to the stadium as well, but I don't know any of the bus stuff offhand.

This reminded me that the light rail to and from DIA from Union Station is opening up next spring, and the light rail will be a feasible option for me to get down to the stadium next season... Wooo

If I'm not mistaken, looking at the fare calculator... It'll cost me less than $10 round trip to get to and from the stadium too... That's less than the price of parking.

Well I will be staying in Golden for the few days I am in Colorado. I will use the link to see about Light Rail. Is there a link for the Bronco bus?

Looks like W line at the Federal Center is closest....Is Sporting Authority the best exit? Would no mind walking through some of the tail gating to see the hype in Denver and visiting with both Bronco and Viking fans...

Is Sporting Authority the best exit?

That's the most direct one. Since you're taking the W, you can probably get off at the Federal Center Station and walk that way, though I've never tried.
