im forgetting the other QB (leinart? or is that next year?)

anyway, these 2 do not seem in the same class as last year and IMO not pro QB's - do you think the team who drafts these 2 (and pays them top dollar) will be looking at problems in the future?

i think its better to get some1 like frye in round 2/3 as he has potential and is alot cheaper - good to groom

frye could be gone in round 1 to GB potentially, they really like that kid, but both aaron rodgers and alex smith are being touted as franchise QB's they are both really good, alex smith probably edges it with his great accuracy and maturity, because they both came out as juniors, they may be less ready than last year's class (manning, etc) but they are both good QB's who some franchise will take and decide to build around, any time you draft someone in the top 10, you are locking down major money in the future and can be problematic when they are busts, this has happened to most franchises, thats why there is such heavy emphasis on scouting to try and eliminate these mistakes
