I saw Joe Jurevicious was released today by Tampa. I'm not confusing Joe with anymor ebeing a very good receiver, but wouldn't he be a good option for us? Think about how our receivers beyond Rod and Ashley looked last year at times? Jurevicious wouldn't drop some of the balls that Dariius had trouble with. WHy not Joe as a fourth receiver who we use in the red zone and for leadership purposes? He should be cheap

Why in the world would Tampa drop him? Injuries?

He's really good when healthy. Won't be cheap, for sure.

I htink it's an age/injuries thing, plus I bet he had some money coming to him this year. He's not really more than a 25-30 catch a year guy now-but I think he can make those count

That boy has hands man. I still remember those sick catches he made the year before last, but he just can't stay healthy.

you are right about the health, but I think you can just try to use him inside the 20s or on big third downs. I'm not going to lie, I have a soft spot in my heart for guys like Jurevicious and Trent Dilfer. We root for guys like these.

Why title this Vicious #1 and #2 I think this should be in 2005 Draft and Free Agency or Other NFL Teams.

Vicious due to it being part of his name. As far as location, I apologize and plead ignorance

Eh, don't worry about it. You're a noob (newbie) so it's ok. Just try to be more aware of this. Sorry about the title, I didn't understand it.

there are few players that remind Me of Ed McCaffrey... and Joe was always one of them....... he was released by TB.

I like him alot. I think for a low price he could be worth the risk.

Bad back?

If you want another Eddie Mac....draft Matt Jones

I am impressed with this kids workouts and his general demeanor. I was a big fan at Arkansas. I knew he was a good athlete I just didn't realize he was off the charts. I know he is projected to go 4th round. I would like to see us use the supplemental pick we will get at the end of the third and use it on this kid.

This is the first "let's sign (insert released player here)" thread i agree with, must be cuz it was started by a vet. I've always liked jurevicious, good hard worker.

Jurevicious is a P-I-M-P. That dude is straight gangsta. I would definatly like to see him in a Denver jersey for the right price.

Anyone else remeber that rediculous catch he had against Philly the opening Monday Night game of 2003?

I would love to see us take a 1 year shot at Joe "Viscious". He would make teams respect another receiver on 3rd Downs and he is beast down in the red zone. He would be a great pick up if he can stay healthy. He's not that old and he shouldn't cost too much, and he would give us the tough receiver that we need to take some of the pressure off of Mr. Smith.

If not I would like to see us take a shot on Vincent Jackson, Matt Jones, Paris Warren, or Brandon Jones in the Draft.

Nate or BJ will be the next Eddie Mac, unless the draft someone.

He will probably be a first round pick (kinda dumb imo), and he is very very raw. Plus he may never become a real great wr, due to starting so late at it.

just my two cents
