So our "Savior, the Snake" is back & I say lets go right back to giving him his grade. So lets recap Jakes shortened season so far:

OK in week 1 Jake stats were:
12 of 25 115yards 48% with 3 pics and ended up with a solid "D" grade from us fans.

Week 2 stats were:
9 of 13 94yards 69.2% with 3 TDs and ended up with a solid "B" grade from us fans!

Week 3:
14 of 21 197yards 66.7% and 2 TDs overall grade of an "A+" WOW!!!

Week 4:
25 of 34 277yards 73.5% and 2 TDs, now he was sacked 3 times and fumbled the ball too... but we gave him a very solid "A-".

Week 5:
20 of 38 221yards 52.6% and 1 TD & we gave him an even split grade of B+ to A- dead even.

I'd have to say that his season GPA is some where around an "A-" still, & I'm love'n it!!!

Now for this week 10 vs the Boltz Jake's stats were:
23 of 34 253yards 67.6% with 3 TDs & 1 INT (was able to rest in the 4th too).

I'm giving him a solid A and here's hoping Jake the Snake takes us FAR into the Playoffs!!!:D

A-...His interception downgraded an overall fantastic performance.

His interception pass was tipped and deflected at the line of scrimmage, so I don't put that one on him. I think he played great, but he does need to completely heal.

I gave him a A-. He had a great game. He was 23-34 not 32-43. But his int downgraded his performace. He had probably the best game I have seen him play this year. Hopefully he will have a better game this weekend.

his 106 passer rating speaks for its self.

I give him an A- for the way he brought everybody else around him back up to the proper level. The team looked re-energized and I think a lot of it had to do with confidence that Jake will get the job done.

Hopefully this feeling of confidence will carry on for the rest of the year. I for one, am glad to see Jake back. I was happy when Denver went for him and I am glad to see that he is working out great for the team.

I give him a A+ because it was his first game back in four weeks he didn't show rust from the layoff and he threw three more Td's making his Td's to Int's ratio 11 to 4 not bad for a guy who was considered an underachiever.

I gave him an A+ for basically the same reasons.

A+ is my vote. He elevated the entire team to a new level. Leadership starts at the top.

Very true, but they had no significant impact on the game, his three td toss far out way any mistake he made in the game. I think he still deserves an A+.

i voted for who cares he's back, because i think he was that much of a difference maker in comparison to our backups. overall, id actually say A-. he missed an open sharpe on the first play, threw the ugly interception, and other than the throw to lelie he was mainly making short throws. no complaints though and it was so nice to have him back. im hoping he saves his A+ performances for kc,indy,gb. (and hoping he doesnt need one against oak.)

since the poll came up, ill post something i heard on am950 the fan on monday while driving home from the game. i think i posted this already but i think its good enough for an encore.

mark moser (who cohosts a show with jim ryan) proposed this poll question.

is jake plummer the man?

a) yes
b) totally
c) without a doubt

good stuff!! and i agree.

Ironically, there were several fans who at the beginning of the season thought Jake would be a hinderance now its important that he is in line up for Denver to have success.
