Yep. Even Q had swelling in his knee and had to miss practice.

Meh, he will get over it and will be ready to practice come tomorrow or so. Nothing to worry about.

"His back is a little sore," Shanahan said. "We just thought it would smart to keep him out (of the morning practice). Itís part of the process, according to the doctors, that it will get sore after three, four or five days of practice. Itís natural. Its a little scar tissue that has built up. It shouldnít be any type of setback ó very minor, at least according to the doctors. Hopefully he will be ready to go (Thursday)."

Let's hope that the "very minor" part of this is the truth.

This is the theory i am believing. It happens to everybody who misses a whole season due to injury.

After you have surgery, you get a little scar tissue. I think thats all it is (or atleast I hope). If he is still sitting out practices at the end of August, I'll be concerned, but until then, I chock it up to post surgery.

just posted this in another thread.

Trust me when I say they have not been dormant.

Had basically the same surgery in 1999, within days, as soon as the stitches were out it was off to rehab. Slowly within two weeks of being able to bend over again was pumping iron and lots of funky water excercises.

I was unable to stand straight up, take a whiz or a dump for a few days before surgery. Was hardly able to sit and lay still. Felt lke a new man the next moring after waking up. Actually was jumping around and tore a stitch.

There has been NO dormant muslces in in that back since. Before perhaps, cause of the pain, after NOPE.

I'm sure after no CONTACT for several months, yes there is going to be some tenderness. Hopefully that all there is.
