dear Denver Bronco players,
I felt the need to write this letter to help your spirits and let you know you don't need to
feel down hearted. I speak for the hidden masses of quiet die-hard bronco fans out there.
We will always be behind you win or lose. We are not the crazy fanatics. We are the
everyday people with everyday lives We may not see every game or have season tickets
but if we miss the game, on monday morning we turn on the TV or read the paper to find
out the score. We are behind you. We are the people you take the field for every sunday.
We are the ones chanting in front of the tv screen. Yelling for you from a thousand miles
away. And though our cheers may go unheard from that distance, may you feel it in your
heart and soul. When you win a game you win it for us. We are the eternal optimist with
sayings like "there is still time" and "It's not over yet". And we will never admit defeat until
the clock reaches double zero for the last time. Our Broncos are never out of the playoffs
till the last game even if the statisticians say so. You are Our team have always been Our
team and will always be Our team. The loss on sunday was hard to watch not because of
the loss as much as the broken look on your faces. And it was with that sight that I inspired
to write this letter. Its time to remember us your quiet fans your distant fans the millions out
there that know "there is still time". You need to remember in your hearts that its never over
till the last game of year when the clock hits zero. You are the denver broncos and we are
your fans and we know...
YOU WILL BEAT THE RAIDERS.
YOU WILL BEAT THE CHIEFS
YOU WILL BEAT THE BROWNS,
YOU WILL BEAT THE COLTS
YOU WILL BEAT THE PACKERS AND
YOU WILL GO TO THE PLAYOFFS AND
WIN THE SUPER BOWL. Win it for us.
We will always cheer for the broncos.
sincerely
Scott (and the other million+ of us)
