    Chiefs vs Broncos II Predicitions

Not here to talk smack or to gloat. You can forget about our records so far, who we've played and who you've played. It doesn't matter how much you beat the Raiders and Chargers by versus how much we beat them by. It all comes down to who wants this game the most. Chiefs are playing for home field advantage throughout and clinching the AFC West and Denver is still playing for a playoff spot...it simply comes down to 60 minutes at 3:15 next Sunday. I cannot wait and think this will be one hellvu game!!!
With all that said I predict:
    Chiefs 34
    Broncos 24
    (here's hoping anyway

    GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!

    Broncos 28
    Chiefs 24
Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.

It's easy to have faith in yourself and have discipline when you're a winner, when you're number one. What you got to have is faith and discipline when you're not a winner.

You really think even with your great offense that you will score 34 points on our defense? I think the Broncos want and need this game alot more then the Chiefs do. We lose this game the playoffs are pretty much out of the picture for us. Broncos will win this game.

        Chiefs-24
        Broncos-27

Broncos will get a game winning field goal with : 08 left on the clock. Portis runs for 150 on 25 carries and 2 td and Plummer goes 17-27 180 yrd and 1 td. Should be a great game.
WE ARE WHO THEY THOUGHT WE WERE

If the Broncos can keep some of the injured players on the field then th Cheifs are in trouble. I'd say 24-17 Broncs

            Broncos: 33
            KC: 24

Broncos score after DAnte hall fumbels on a crucial return - on previous return Blocking to the back actually called against chiefs

                  Not so high-scoring this time

I think this willbe a defensive struggle....I know, that sounds dumb considering there are two pretty powerful offenses going head-to-head this week but the defense of the Broncos and Cheifs are pretty good as well. I think defense will keep it in check a little.

                  Broncos 17
                  Cheifs 13

                          2003: KC 22 - Den 21, ???
                          2002: Den 37 - KC 34, Den 31 - KC 24
                          2001: Den 20 - KC 6, KC 26 - Den 23
                          2000: KC 23 - Den 22, KC 20 - Den 7
                          1999: KC 26 - Den 10, KC 16 - Den 10
                          1998: Den 30 - KC 7, Den 35 - KC 31
                          1997: Den 19 - KC 3, KC 24 - Den 22
                          1996: KC 17 - Den 14, Den 34 - KC 7

While history has no real bearing on the upcoming game, I still like to look for trends. My first thought was that these two always play close games. But upon further review, most seasons have one close game and then one not so close; last season was an exception.

At first, I was going to pick Den 27 - KC 24 which I noticed is an interestingly common pick. But looking at the overall trend I think I'll go with Den 34 - KC 20.

It depends on whether Denver decides to give the ball to Portis early and often, even if the Broncos fall behind. I'm convinced the game of keep away is the best way to beat the Chiefs. First team to 25 wins.

                              I like the Chiefs, 31-24.
Despite all the hype, once you finally get a hammer, you don't hammer nearly as much as you think you will.
