Is on Denver. At home, thin air, great fans . All advantages go to the Broncos. PATS have nothing to lose. They are not suppose to be here. I think they have 6 DB`s on IR, the leftside of O-line are Rookies and Brady`s center is out for the yr! They shouldn`t have beaten the Colts or Steelers last year! Colts were suppose pass the PATS out of the stadium the Steelers were suppose to run all over the PATS. The key to this game is going to be Plummer and Special Teams. You know Belichick is in his office as we speak looking at film on Plummer to find a way to confuse him on Saturday. The D you saw the last time is nothing what Belichick uses in the playoffs. Wonder if he knew the PATS would meet Denver in the playoffs? The DB`s look like their doing the Harlem Globetrotter weave. Just go back and look at Samuel`s INT last week. He made it look like he was going to take the outside WR down the side lines took 2 steps then came back to the inside WR for the pick. It appears like there is always a DB in front and behind every WR`s. Belichick can take a WR (Brown)and a cpl guys off the couch (Poteat,Hawkins) give him 6 weeks with them and they produce. Been watching football over 30 yrs never seen anything like it. Also Belichick is looking at film of Denver`s loss to Colts last 2 yrs in the playoffs. He will find what Denver`s D weakness is in those games and exploit it on Saturday. Don`t be surprised to see the PATS O look like the Colts O formation at times and expect no huddles. The PATS only score when they have to. They would be happy to win by 3 or less and play field position. Playing the PATS is like playing tennis against the wall. Eventually you make a mistake! Should be a great Game!!!

I think there is more pressure on Denver, but like Belichick said before the last meeting "I think it (the air) will be the same thickness on our side of the field as on theirs."

That statement right there proves he's a genius.

Im not sure all the pressure is on Denver. Bradys what 10 and 0 in the playoffs, your coach has not lost to the the same team twice since the 80s or somethin. And plus you guys are the defending champs playing at your best right now. And not to mention almost every radio station and sports show majority of the so called experts pick N.E to win. Good luck cuz your gonna see a focused Brocos team I can promise you that!! :coffee:

Nothing to lose? Only the playoff/SB streak that Pats fans have been fluffing each other to all season. Getting your excuses in early?

That pick was no genious. The Jags had run that play two other times in the same situation during the game. It was a good defensive call based on what they had already seen from a weak team with no running game and no down field threat. hardly a thing of genious. More like a competent call.

As good as Tom Brady is the Pats offense is not the Colts offense, not even close. There is no Edgerrin James, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, or Brandon Stokely. Belichick can sit in his office and study the Colts offense against the Broncos D all he wants to but they don't have the players to pull that off. Even so, the Broncos D is twice the defense it was the past two years with the addition of Ian Gold, Darrent Williams, Dominique Foxworth, Courtney Brown (a former #1 overall pick), and the rest of D-line additions. Plus the lack of turnovers by Plummer and the offense (resulting in a +20 turnover difference, second in the NFL) has taken a lot of pressure of our defense and leaves them on the sidelines more. This is a completely different Broncos team then we have seen in the previous two Plummer seasons.

We go through this every year .... don't people ever learn .... last year Manning had 49 TD's and had just spanked the Broncos (yeah that's right) in the playoffs ... no one could imagine the Colts losing ... the World Champs held them to 3 .... that's right .... 3 points in the game. After we take care of Denver, we move on to Indianapolis for their annual spanking

I don't know why anyone thinks that "all the pressure is on Denver". The Pats are the defending SB champions and they have to play 3 playoff games on the road to get back. They want to win as bad as the Broncos, but are facing an almost impossible task. Nobody has won the SB without the first week bye since the NFL went to the 4 division format. Now, the 3rd and 4th division winners have to play 3 games to advance to the SB and the wild-cards have to win 3 on the road!

It's just so much easier to have that bye. Nobody yet has lost during their bye week! :)

Playing at Mile High = advantage Broncos. They seem to match up well against the Patriots.

Who are you, John Kerry? I submit something about how the Patriots do not have the same kind of offense that the Colts do, and you bring up something about last years playoffs. Stick with the subject man. I can't argue with this. The Patriots aren't capable of the same things on offense that the Colts are...PERIOD!!! Also...we're not playing in New England anymore...and your Patriots may very well win and then beat the Colts. But they do not have as good of offense as the Colts.

BULL! The Patriots and the Colts are these teams that have the MOST to lose. The Patriots are defending that infamous 3-Peat and the Colts were the team that was picked to go the distance.

So if you want to talk about "Pressure" those are the TWO teams that have most to lose.

Except for their shot at history. 3 in a row has never been done. No one expects the Broncos to win, most of the pundits are picking the Pats... so nice try on the reverse psychology, but the real pressure is on the Pats.

Good luck though.

If you're gonna bring up old stuff like my wife always does then lets bring up 1997. We went through Jacksonville, KC and Pitt in the Playoffs. Not to mention whooping you guys 34-13. (Now that's embarassing) So you made the playoffs too but guess what you lost in the divisional game against Pitt (Which we beat the week after)

I wont go into the Suberbowl as you know the rest. History doesnt mean anything. 10-0 undefeated, blah blah blah. You gotta come to Mile High and win. You dont have the luxury of home field anymore.

You're living on past glory as this is the present. Hang on a little longer and your so called legacy will be just a memory.

I never said it was a Genious pick. It was a smart situational play by the coach and player. PATS find a way to out smart the other team. As for no running game the Jags avg 122yds/g rushing 10th in the NFL.

But everyone already thinks we are going to lose today so the "pressure" is on the Patriots to prove it.

See I wonít use the no respect card here but I will use the word under estimate. Remember when you say our O is not even close to colts O. Are you saying stat wise or big play wise? I think we have them big play wise in playoffs. As for WR`s go Coltís WRís don`t like getting hit! They donít have the physical toughness of the PATS WR`s. Look at Givens and Branch very tough WRís. Saw 1 clip your LB decleated Branch and he got right back up. Ted Johnson said on NFL Network Playbook about playing against colts last yr ďwe knew we had the game after the 3rd series because we hit their WR`s in the mouthĒ! You say your D has new additions arenít Darrent Williams and Dominique Foxworth Rookies? Playoffs are a game of match ups. How is Denver going to match up with PATS when they have 2 rookies in the D against Brady? (IE:Givens vs. Foxworth). Brady will also try to bait Champ on a down out and up at least once. Also when the PATS are in the huddle showing 2 TE`s Denver brings in the run D. As the PATS break the huddle and then they spread the 2 TE`s out wide for 4 wide outs. Then go with no huddle and still have Dillon in the back field to block. Who will cover the TE`s in this formation? These 2 guys play like WRís. Plus donít you have a cpl players on D banged up? As for Plummer you canít go by stats of this regular season. Playoff and Regular season 2 different animals. His INT`s in past playoffs is not good. Another matchup is the O-Line of Denver and the Front 7 of PATS. If your O-Line can handle our NT Wilfork and DT Seymour you will be hard to beat. See some good match ups here
