Nene had a solid game with a huge block at the end and a great dunk at the end to keep us in the game.

I'm sorry, but Nene didn't have a solid game at all. He couldn't finish worth a damn. 5/12 and only 6 rebounds. He was pretty crappy, he did play some good defense on Bynum however.

Nene was 5/12, 2/4 FT and only 6 rebounds. Pau had 11 rebounds in the first half alone, Nene's man in the 1st half (majority of it).

He had countless layups missed because he didn't finish. Hell, our neighbors were over, and one of them is a huge ass Nene fan, even he was freaking out on him -- Nene jersey and all.

He played pretty good defense when he was on Bynum for the most part.

And what is your argument for how he had a solid game?

So are you saying that is not a solid game. I never said great or even a good game. He had a solid game.

12-6 with a clutch dunk and a huge block at the end of the game I think qualitfies as a solid game. I never said great. I never said terrific. Hell I didn't even say good. I said a solid game. That is what he had. I don't even know why you needed to pick that argument with me.

I said, I don't think he had a solid game.

I don't classify this as a solid game based on a 'block' and a dunk. He missed countless easy opportunities early on. Shot 50% from FT. Shot about 40% from the field, most of those in the paint.

I'll give him the good defense, I liked what I saw defensively for the most part (rebounds not included -- just man to man, switches, etc...), aside from one play after a no call goal tending.

However, I don't classify that as a solid game. Hell, most of our players didn't have solid games in my book. We played terribly, but hell, we still almost won.

He could be top-5, maybe, but i don't see them winning a ring for awhile with all the good teams in the West.

OKC is set to own the West for awhile.

I don't know about that. We have a legit shot. Even without those highly coveted Superstars. We are that deep, we have a shot. So, if by set you mean pretty much a shoe in, I'd say that isn't entirely true.

However, they will be top 3 for a long time more than likely.

Don't argue with him it's like talking to brick wall. Whatever Kobe accomplishes in his career it never be good as MJ haters will never admit it. But Legends of basketball will Magic Johnson, Shaq, MJ, Jerry West, kareem abdul jabbar, Charles Barkley, and Phil Jackson all have Kobe top 5 all-time and some compare him to MJ that's good enough for me. I'll take there opinion over some regular person.

Whats crazy is are old 3 peat roster.

We had roll players like Rick Fox, Big Shot Bob, Deven George, Glen Rice, Brian Shaw...........most of theses guys were garbage but PJ found a way to get the most out of them in the triangle.

Kobes accomplished so much.

Well, OKC is loaded, arguably the best player in the league in Durant, and other good players in Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka plus others.

Scary thought, all 4 of them are 23 and under

Yeah, i mainly meant OKC will be top 2-3 in the West year in, and year out, scary good team, barring injuries of course.

No, not with the way the Lakers are currently constructed, they don't have cap space, and Kobe/Gasol aren't getting any younger. And yes, i guess we'll see, as currently constructed, i don't think they will win it all.

Odom is a FA after this year.

Kobe takes up nearly half the payroll alone, and Gasol is on the hook around 15+ for the next 2 or 3 years.

Dwight already said he won't sign with LA, and CP3 said he'll forward his option with the Clips, and i doubt Deron goes there.

The Lakers have already been informed that Howard won’t sign a long-term deal in Los Angeles, according to sources close to the situation. If the Lakers were to trade for Howard, he would opt out and test free agency. Howard’s interest in Los Angeles has always been overstated, mainly because he doesn’t want to follow in Shaquille O’Neal’s footsteps and he doesn’t want to go through another rebuilding process anytime soon. With Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol is their thirties, Howard would be reaching his prime just as his All-Star teammates are declining.

I never said you said great. I never said you said terrific. I never said you said good.

Okay then. Also don't forget a huge knock away which resulted in a steal in the clutch which also got us an extra possesion. Lets just disagree. I think nene had a solid game. AAA had a solid game. Miller had a solid game. Harrington had a good game.

We went good considering it was on the back of a back to back against a pretty good team in LA. We bent the Clips in half and jumped on their necks on their back to back game. At least we were competitive. We killed our selves in this one. I think it will be a tough task to beat Portland on the back of back to back to back.

Is that some type of insult when you say well he's lakers fan. :duh:

It's like you hold that against them or something I find that very odd and strange. No offense man but that's pretty disrespectful. Anyway I think very funny that some fans don't see Kobe greatness and what he's accomplished in his career but legends and coaches of sport do. Phil and Barkley don't even like Kobe much but they even can at least admit about top 5 player ever.

Well I'm out great game it was close but better team won tonight we'll Nuggets later down road I'm sure. Nuggets can easily beat Lakers any night.

Man this sucks. Injuries are killing us. Need to get some easy wins and we still should have beat the Rockets tonight. Down 4 and we went for a trap which I do not understand. They do nopt have one explosive scorer in isolation at all. Just go man to man to a defend and try to force a miss. I don't like that decision at all. I think if Harrington gets the two free throws it is a different game but oh well.

Gallo will be missed and now Wilson Chandler cannot get back soon enough. Also would love to see Ty take more control of this team.

I think Mozzy is a huge loss.

He keeps improving game in and game out and really was becoming quite good before his injury. He is a big man in there that is physical. We don't really have that with anyone else. Kosta 'can be' physical and same with Nene, but both of them are typically softer than Mozzy.

I haven't heard a time table on him though, hopefully it's pretty soon.

AAA and Nene I think were more precautionary and due to their struggles, just giving them a night off. I'd bet they are both back on Wednesday against the Mavericks.

The chip in Gallo's foot is from a prior injury, likely before his NBA career.

He'll be wearing a boot for 3-5 days and getting treatment on the 'significant' ankle sprain.

The return is unknown. However, I've read 4 weeks a couple of times. Karl is thinking 4 weeks.

While 4 weeks without Gallo sucks, it's actually very good news due to what could have been.

Hopefully it's quicker but 4 weeks is good news in my book.

First, it's not a for sure team. Wilson WANTS to stay with us, so obviously that is a good thing. But, plenty of other teams want him, so if we don't offer something better/equal to the other teams, he'll probably leave.

Second, it could possibly just be a half year contract. That would suck...however, if we offer a long term deal, it sounds like he'll take it.

So pretty much, as long as we offer a reasonable contract, Wilson will accept. He likes what we are doing here and the young talent he will be surrounded by. George Karl said Chandler is a 30+ minute player every night. So, I'd bet he does come back when Masi loves him, and GK does too.

Rudy was -17 tonight and Lawson was -13. We need to get back on track some how. I stopped watching and I am suprised we got it back to single digits.

If they didn't bail out the warriors with that BS call at the end, I think we'd actually come really close to winning this one. I know it sounds ridiculous but...

it was a 9 point game.. they gave them those points, we hit a three... 8 point game... take those 2 points away, 6... with 1:30 left. we had all the momo.

edit: you guys stopped watching at the worst time... we were doing great! hamilton makin 3's... stone was aggressive defensively... faried was a monster... was nice to see them workin hard.

So hoping Wilson Chandlers team loses every game to close out the season so he can get back earlier and not go to the playoffs. They are currently in the 8th seed and the 9th and 10th seed are just one game behind Chandlers team.

I am also just guessing the top 8 teams go to the playoffs.

Honestly, He was the only one who gave a damn out there....

Yup.

And he will night in and night out -- that is the main reason I back him so much.

He's not flashy, he's not going to put up huge numbers, but he isn't going to give up and will always play defense.

When we trounced the Clippers and AAA didn't play too well offensively even, Barkley said something at the end of the game that I agree with...

"AAA is the glue of the Denver Nuggets, he's what holds them together."

He's a leader, great defender and will always give it his all. Once he fixes his offensive game, even just a consistent 12-15 points a night, he'll definitely be worth what we signed him for.

I think the Nuggets should be fine. I wouldn't give any slumps before the deadline any merit. The most important span of the season are the several weeks leading into the playoffs. Everything before that doesn't really matter.

Just take a look at the Pacers last season. They were real up and down for the majority of the season -- heated up at the end, and carried some momentum into the playoffs. We also saw it all season long with the Miami Heat.

I am interested in what your team will do. No offense, I just don't see how your team has the record you do, just doesn't seem like that good of a team. Couldn't watch the game but I am guessing Lawson and Afflalo worked great out there ? Sounds like Miller was bad. He is annoying me as of late. He slows the team down and forces us to play too much half court basketball which we are not great at. I would love to see him traded for something at all.

Yea Lawson was attacking the basket.

AAA was making shots including a clutch 3 near the end.

Miller missed 2 free throws that sparked a run for the Pacers. I would like to see him traded too, I think stone is good and I want to see him develop. Its also nice to see Faried getting meaningful minutes

Yup.. it's eating him inside that he's not starting. He's not as much a team player as people have been saying he is...

I hate that when he's on a fast break, he gives up the easy lay in and risks the shot entirely by passing it up... half the time it doesn't work.

just make the freaking shot.

Also, these injuries suck, but is anyone else enjoying the extended play Faried is getting? I'm loving it, especially that oop in the first. 13 and 9, not a bad night for the rookie!

Up twenty, with an easy layup...AAA chases down whoever it was and knocks the ball out. That's why he's my favorite player.

It's none stop hustle with him regardless if we are down 20, or up 20 points, he'll always give it his all, even if the rest of the team has given up.

I watched it at the bar, and we played a great game. Bird actually played pretty good .

3rd straight 20 point game for AAA. Ty played well. Faried logged some good minutes, he's still way to 'rookish' for my liking, but that's the only way to get better, and he rebounds regardless.
