I knew The Chargers were going to lose and it is great that they did. The charger players had no class at all. They played some of the dirtiest football I have seen in years. From the punk doing the head butting, to the steroid junkie going on a roid rage after he made one tackle, to lt crying like a baby. I hope someone breaks his record because I'm tired of people acting like he is the second coming. R. Bush was supposed to be the second coming.

I was really shocked at the way he reacted after the game. It showed a lack of maturity on his part, and It looks like he started to believe his own press. that's not the way the league MVP should conduct himself. You never saw John Elway act that way after a loss, and as we all know he was in some bigger losses than LT will ever see.

Well LT has had one break down in all the years he's played--and he's played on a pretty crappy team most of the time so we should cut him a break. The Chargers lost and I am glad because of guys like Olshanski being mouthy jerks all season, and playing dirty ball. Phillip Rivers too. Remember his passive aggressive comments after they beat us a second time where he said "it's great being a QB when no one touches you all day!" The kid deserves this loss.

LT deserves a pass I say. Similar to when D. Johnson had a break down all those years ago because of Shannon Sharpe. Not in his character at all.

Are you foreal??? Those classless Patriots (not the entire team, just the ones mocking the Bolts after the game) acted like a bunch of "TOs dancing on the Dallas Star". Don't even begin to tell me your beloved Broncos wouldn't have done the same thing. After a game, you are suppose to walk over shake hands and congratulate one another, not run to the 50 yd line and mock the other team. Those are fightin words :fight:

A few points:
1) You need to get of Reggie Bush's jock.
2) If you don't think LT is the second coming you need your head checked. You are witness to one of the greatest players of this era. Hell, I don't like Payton or Brady (when they are playing the Bolts) but I got no problem admitting they are the 2 best QBs of this era.
3) Your comment about "dirtiest football", you must be kidding. I agree D-Flo's headbutt was stupid, but by no means a dirty play.
4) How was LT crying?? He was explaining why he acted they way he did. The only thing I disagree with his comments was when he said, "might be like their coach". That was a cheapshot at one of the great coaches of this era.

I must agree, Elway had some pretty bad losses. However, no one disrespected him or his team by mocking them after a loss. I don't agree with your comment about maturity, I think he was mad about the lost and the disrepect sent him over the top. He is one of the most humblest guys in all of football. He is always about the team and never about himself. He never calls out a teammate for losing a game. The MVP could not have gone to a better guy.

When I first saw LT's reaction after the game, I thought ***?

Then, he continued to try and leave the field as other Patriot players approached him. He did in fact high five them, hug them whatever. He was mad a certain few.

Like Phil Simms said, I think that LT did not appreciate the level of celebration the Patiot players showed. Now I don't know what words were said on that field or what ever, but I thought the Patriots had every right to jump up and down and celebrate that win after being behind like they were.

LT must have had some reason for being so upset because he is a classy player and don't believe that he was doing that out of bad sportsmanship.

You must have missed the sarcasim. I can't stand bush either. Everyone has been on both their n-ts. Just like everyone was saying how great it was that art shell was back coaching for the raiders. Saying he should have never been fired. Then he turns in the raiders worst season ever and everyone thinks he sucks. Guess what he has always sucked as a coach.

I dont know how long you have been watching football, but I see teams celebrate like that all the time, espically when they are going to the championship game. Sure, the pats were classless, but LT should have controlled his emotions.
I dont think people are upset at LT for what he did, they are just a bit surprised. He is the last guy on the chargers that I wouldve expected to storm around the field after the game. There were a few pats players that were being classy and were trying to shake LTs hand but he just pushed them out of the way.

Been watching football for quite awhile and have never see another NFL team mock another team after a win. I think you're making celebrating and mocking one in the same. How would your BRONCOS react if AFTER a game the other team ran to the 50 yd line and started saluting each other :salute: ??

If he was your RB and you knew him like we do you wouldn't feel this way. He was standing up for good sportsmanship, something i'm sure you would hope for in your players. But it's cool, we are a rival so i understand.

You know what? you never see this type of thing in baseball. I guess because they play the other team 18 times a year, and if you show someone up, the next time they are at bat, they will be getting a fastball in the ribs.

But as far as LT, I will give him a pass....It was out of character for him.

The Patsies could have handled the situation with more class too.

I feel bad for LT, he had a great year this season for it to all be thrown out again. I honestly think as long as LT stays with the Chargers he will never win a Super Bowl, but that's my opinion. But staying on topic LT, while he acted classless had every right to pretty much storm off. Patriots are the real classless team.

I think the Charger fans are a little bitter about the loss. This goes to show it. You come to the Bronco Message board and expect us to feel sorry for you? We Bronco fans have done nothing but show class and how dare you bring our team into your example.

I didn't see this "dance" you are referring to at the 50 yard line. These Patriots were picked to lose. These guys were happy they won. I never saw a TO Display, of going out on the star and dancing in the manner you portray.

I am sorry the Chargers lost. I was actually routing for them because I don't want the Colts to have the home field next weekend.

There was a small part of me routing the the Bolts mainly because of LT but the other side of me said "Go Brady" So yet once again, the Chargers will sit at home at watch.

It's your teams fault you didn't win. Don't get so ticked off at the Patriots for winning when they weren't given a chance.

LT should have shown better sportsmanship than he did. They lost. End of story. I have seen MUCH worse displays of winning in a game then your alleged Patriot slam on your "star"

I am not done with you yet.

We Bronco fans are still mourning our loss to the 49ers that put us out of the playoffs. Then we had to endure the DWill tragedy.

So Take your whiney ass to the Bolt boards and complain there. Not here.

You have to be able to withstand things like what the Patriots did after the game, they showed no class. That is what sets you apart from the Terrell Owens and Randy Moss's in the league. There are Players in this league who act like they are still in college with taunting and trash talking, but those are the players that don't get remembered, what is important is how you conduct yourselves on AND off the field, that is what gets remembered after your playing days are over. LT is a great player and deserved to win, but I don't want to see him stoop to the level of those Patriots players who chose to embarrass their team after such a big win. But the responsibility for their actions ultimately lies with the Head Coach. Winning is one thing but Respect is another.

Both sides are classless. LT shouldn't have done what he did but then again NE is on their way to their 4th SB appearance in 6 years, you'd think they'd know how to act after winning a game.

However, what LT said about Coach B, really made me laugh

LT and his "classy" chargers company are all a bunch of bad losers. He is talking about how good he is and in the next sentence he offends their coach. They just thought they were the team to beat, they thought they were way better than the Pats, they must be pretty disillusioned right now.
Was funny to watch their calmness after the game, the Pats were much too decent. Win it, celebrate. Don't see the problem dancing around on a stupid logo and copying gestures, just another style of trash talking.

However, what LT said about Coach B, really made me laughYeah.. that comment was a bit overboard. I respect LT and think he is a classact and I defended last night when a lot said that he was showing his true color. I still think he was right to be upset about being disrespected but he did take it a bit far with his comments and calling himself classy (a classy person doesn't need to say they are classy).

Thinking back at it all now though... the Pats mocked Merriman more than they mocked the Chargers with that stupid roid rage dance. LT defended his teammate, which is admirable but Merriman doesn't show a lot of people respect so in it's own way, he deserved to be mocked.

Guys, don't be ridiculous. If the Patriots beat us in our house and then went to mid field and danced on the logo -- or worse, started doing the Mile High Salute -- I'd want our players to stand up for the organization too. What L.T. did is not "classless" or "immature", it was in fact something I'd want a player to do in the face of such poor sportsmanship.

And yes, I hate the Chargers and I'm glad they lost. But I don't see how you can call L.T. out for responding to what the Patriots were doing -- you know full well that if it was our Broncos on the receiving end you'd be entirely behind L.T.'s actions (if he were on our team).

when the Chargers beat the Patriots in the regular season last year they were saying things like:

Quote:
One after the other, sweaty, smiling members of the San Diego Chargers walked through the massive concrete artery that leads to the visitors locker room in Gillette Stadium.

As they walked, tearing grass-stained tape from their hands, they gloated aloud about their just-finished, 41-17 hammering of the New England Patriots.

"That's an ass-whipping," said defensive coordinator Wade Phillips.

"21-1, now," tackle Leander Jordan announced, referring to the Patriots' punctured 21-game home winning streak.

"F___ New England and their team," suggested cornerback Drayton Florence. Florence then said to the collection of onlookers in the hallway. "Get the look of shock off your faces. Don't be shocked. We beat your ass."

"We just kept the intensity up," said Chargers center Nick Hartwick. "They don't like when you keep pushing and shoving and keep coming after them."

Okay...I understand where LT is coming from, however...he shouldn't have lost his cool. I mean...if the Pats want to act like idiots and want to be classless...let them. BUT...don't bring yourself down to their level by acting like a little baby. I mean...players from other teams mock the "Mile High Salute" all the time and I have never, not once seen a Broncos player get mad and go after another player.

C'mon LT...keep your cool..you are a very good player...but don't turn into one of these whiny, complaining football players. There are already too many in the NFL.

Keep an eye on LT this next year...this incident may be the start of something...or not...we'll see.

2. Shoving Cameraman - he apologized and said there were so many peopke and he was just trying to get through

3. Fake Hug - no idea how u can call it "fake"

someone posted what they said to us last year..coaches were taunting us..the pep rally..Merriman talking all week about smacking Brady around. Patriots won..and celebrated..everyone celebrates when they win. Maybe our players overydid it but Hobbs said it was emotions and some others said some of it came from last year. Colvin said they taunted us the whole time.

If you dont want people to dance on your field..then dont lose control of the game and lose

i gurantee had nothing happened last year and had Merriman not said a word this week that non of that would of happened. and to blame BB? Bill doesnt condone those things..and Warren said it on Sirius.

on side note..celebrations were loud in halls on way back to lockerroom and i thought i would share it because Troy seemed to have a lot of fun
