OK I could still use some help. I thought this was a place to help each other. You pros out there do not want a rookie to show you up do you? Well any way please help so everyone can learn and enjoy.

Thanks to all that helped build this list.

I think we can get up to 40 if we all help.

A cheat sheet (at least to me) is used to help draft players in different positions. It lists the players in each position from best to worst.

You can cross off players as they are taken, so you know which options to use.

You can also use the cheat sheet if you have an automated draft. You can list players in one big list from best to worst and hope you get a good drafting position.

The numbers on the site could correlate to how many potential fantasy points a player may score in a given year for specific rules of scoring. It may or may not help you, depending on how your FF team is set up. If the team is more geared to passing yards or rushing yards affects how you will draft your team and make your list from your cheat sheet.

I hope that helps a little. :heh:

I use www. nflfreaks.com . This site has a feature I use a lot called "Match Up Analysis tool" It basically breaks down all the defense in the league on one sheet, and how they rank against the run, pass and scoring. Plus it has player news, and good suggestions on who to start and sit any given week.

Oh! And I'll sticky this

I've even managed to get my hubby interested in ff this year. He's not a big sports person. He is a Bronco fan now, though...and thats all that matters!

It's a little late for this year, but

www.nfl.com/fantasy/

has just about everything you need, including probably the most up to date information on injuries and status, plus all kinds of comparison features and rankings. I've been playing there for about 3 or 4 years now, and I've stopped bothering to get my info from anywhere else.... Won 1 of my 2 leagues there this year!! (Yeah for me!!)

Great thread, reds! and great post, gogo!

fantasyfootball.com is prob my favorite fantasy site. i love the free weekly ''Greyreport'' where he breaks down all the starters in each of the week's games.

reds, you gave me some links to some great new sites...thanks!

I'd also add fanball.com for daily updates/injury updates on players..it's free

Wow I don't think I saw it on here but you can't leave out www.thehuddle.com. They are one of the highest rated sites out there. David Dorey is the man.

Agreed, even though you have to pay to get the really good stuff from them, right?

Also, http://www.fftoolbox.com/

I'm of the opinion that there are A LOT of opinions out there :D, and the more sources you have, the better you (or, your ff team) will be.

Yeah, their "premium" stuff is fantastic! I still go for there daily for the 'player news' and various columns which are free.

I also used to like Talented Mr. Roto a lot before Berry sold it to espn.

www.fanball.com

As far as a quick way to see all the recent news updates that are fantasy related I go to fanball.com then scroll down a little to where it says "OWNER'S EDGE NEWSBREAKERS", then just click on the NFL tab and you can see the recent FF news.

This is also a good place to get fantasy NBA news, fantasy MLB news, or other fantasy sports news.

It's quick and easy.

Right now one of their little video clips on the front page is about Stokley.

They also handle everything else fantasy related as far as leagues and contests etc.

Their weekly rankings by position are some the best. Their pre-draft cheat sheet is the best. It's organized into "tiers," which is the second most important concept to understand during your draft.
