Having a cold.

I hate having a cold. Hate is a strong word and I absolutly hate being sick. My nose feels like a balloon and my throat just hurts. My stomach is a little shakey and I am just plain tired. When are we going to find a cure for the common cold?

would be a break through for sure. Since we don't have a cure for any virus yet.

I have a serious cold right now too. I had the headache and congestion crap for a couple of weeks and about 4 days ago it really hit. I just can't shake it. I am taking the Nyquil and the vitamins.

I guess all we can do is just ride it out.

I don't know what's worse. A stuffy nose or a runny one that makes you blow every 5 minutes which is where I'm at. The end of my nose is raw and sore from blowing so much.

My wife even bought those lotion kleenex things but I can't stand the smell of those things.

awwww... poor things!!! You need some home made chicken soup!! I just made my hubby some, want a nice steamy bowl?? It's really good!! Another thing that will kill ANY germ in ya is the XXX HOT sauce on the wings at Willies Wings. (although I think they recently changed the name of the place. Not sure to what tho.) i SWEAR that stuff will peel asphalt!! Last year I had a bad sinus infection. My hubby brought home Willies Wings and I SWEAR by the next morning everything had totally cleared up. *LOL* What's scary is that if there is something you need to be on antibiotics for, a lot of these things have become immune to the antibiotics. I have a friend who works at a preschool and one of the little boys in her class died two weeks ago because of a strain of strep that was immune to antibiotics. Turned into Scarlet fever and then Pneumatic fever and just took him. So sad, He was only 4. So don't let these colds linger too long. If it hangs on longer than two weeks go see a doc. And get some STRONG antibiotics.

That stuff does work good but I don't like the bubbles bouncing up my nose when trying to drink it.

I just hate when it doesn't dissolve fully and you get a mouthful of paste at the end.

My tutor from a while ago said he drank hot hot water thats been in oregano because he said it was a natural antibody or something like that.

I'm not crazy enough to do that but I just can't get better by medicine and I have to just take it like a man.
