Please Pray for my friend

as of right now if this gets me banned its worth it.

My friend Tyler went to this ski hill wit me this last weekend (sunday) and we were doing really good and were on a woods run when someone cut him off accidently. REALLY long story short Tyler ended up swinging to miss, hit a tree and is now in the hospital with internal bleeding, a lacerated spleen and a contussion on his lung. He is in ICU until at LEAST Friday and can't eat yet in case he has to go into surgery.

Please pray that he will be ok, Tyler is one of my two best friends and like a little brother to me.

Lacerated or ruptured spleen you can bleed out pretty quickly. You can still function on one lung.

I hope he battles through it. Man that sucks. Spend as much time with him as you can JoRo. Having someone there always helps a person.

Jeez man... that's really rough. I've seen it first hand.

I was skiing in Colorado, it was the last run of the day and we were on the other side of the mountain at about closing time. This woman was skiing out of control right in front of me and I was helpless to watch her change course and land smack dab into a tree. I could tell immediately she suffered a severe concussion. I'm CPR certified so I laid her back took a bit of care for her and then hit the run down to alert skii patrol, I didn't look like anybody would even be coming down the run after us.

I don't know what happened to her, just that I did all I could for her and that the patrol did get a hold of her.

I know how serious these injuries can be, sounds like your friend took a hard one. My condolences JoRo, I hope he pulls through. Prayer isn't my thing, but he has my best wishes.

Well he is doing fairly well now. Still in the hospital but doing better. Got to spend some time with him yesterday and that was fun.
