  • Cool! ... but kinda creepy

Built by Boston Dynamics, the BigDog is a four-legged robotic mule that can carry over 340-pounds (original version 88-pounds). As you'll see in the video, it's very sturdy and can withstand a kick to the body without falling over. Continue reading to watch. The new version of the robot can now car

I'm kinda surprised we don't see more of this type of stuff. With all the technology out there, I would think this would have progressed further by now.

NASA uses robotics obviously on the space station, shuttles, the moon, Mars.. so the knowledge has been there.

A few years ago, I remember science came out with the robotic dog house pet.

This is pretty cool. And since it was funded by some a defense agency, I'm sure that it probably has some sort of military application.

And I find it creepy to watch too. It looks like a headless dog!!

Wow....I was impressed when they kicked it. I figured it would just sit there and support it's weight, but the moves it makes right afterwards I have to imagine are incredibly difficult to program it to maintain it's balance like that.
