Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

A couple of friends and I are going to Las Vegas for a couple days in May. (3 days/2nights)
We've never been there before so I was looking to get some advice from those of you that have.
I'd like to go to Star Trek: The Experience and the Hoover Dam, but beyond that, I'm clueless.
Any ideas? We'd like to make it as economically friendly as possible as we don't have a great deal of money.
We do not plan on gambling at all.
Thanks!
Dont know if anyone already gave you this advice but here goes. I highly recomend the Star Trek at the Hilton, definitely lives up to the hype and has booku special effects! I also rec. Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian (The hotel I stay at), it is an unbelievable production (Doesnt matter where you sit really, cheap seats will do). If you are a fan of the rat pack, there is a really cool show titled "The Rat Pack is Back" playing at the Union Plaza in downtown Las Vegas. Being a fan of the rat pack I have seen many different impersonators but this cast is by far the best! If you are into a more adult themed show, all I can say is save your money when it comes to "BITE" dude that show sucks (No 'pun' intended)!!
As far as "Sports Books" go, you are going to have to have a look at many and see which fits you. In the past I felt the Stardust SB was the best but..... It isnt there anymore!!! I hear Blue man crew are pretty tight!! Also, when going to any hotel feel free to use the Valet, you nly have to tip them. Alot of people dont use it because they feel it will be expensive. As far as clubs go, Go "RIO" , Venetian has a pretty tight club called TAO which I have been to (Lots of beautiful women show up there). As far as Buffets go, I prefer to go eat downtown when I want more bang for my buck (But most of the time I am compt at the hotel I am staying at. BY THE WAY!!!! WHEREVER YOU GO, GET A "P L A Y E R S----C A R D ." If your going to spend your money at any hotel, at least reap some of the benefits they do have for you.
If your into POKER (Hold 'em), I recomend a place called the "SUNSET STATION" it is off the strip. Now as far as I know all hotels have this deal, but there they have a 45$ buy in Hold 'em Tourny. Also when you get to your hotel READ THE VEGAS MAGAZINE THEY WILL HAVE THERE FOR YOU!!!!!!!!! LOOK THROUGH IT!!!! There will be coupons and other offers/ads you could use. For half price show tix there is that Coca Cola spot on the strip (Not sure what it is called, but you cant miss it), it is just past the MGM. You can get show tix at a great price BUT you can only get the tix scheduled for that same day, you cant buy them there the day before showtime. There is much more but my fingers are hurting. Have fun!! Which Hotel are you staying at?
SOMEBODY!!! ANYBODY!!!! GIVE ME A MILE HIGH SALUTE!!!!
I would also say that Madame Tussauds wax museum is pretty awesome. I just went last month and it was really fun. You can take pictures with all of the celebrities. It was just a good time and you leave with tons of pictures and fun memories. (You can get a coupon for a discount in one of the vegas magazines usually found in your hotel room). The museum is located in the Venetian Hotel.
The Coca Cola Store and M&M factory are always fun to browse through.
I would advise that you do walk the strip at least once. Going through each of the casinos. They are all different and amazing in their own way.
I'm not sure if your into clubbing.. but Pure Nightclub is a blast!
Star Trek The Experience and the Hoover Damn tour cost almost as much as the ticket.
Plus you get passes to other places.
Not a good deal?
Things might be different these days, but when we had friends do it, they felt ripped off. I dunno. It might be the right thing for you since you are not gambling.
The Hilton's Star Trek Experience is pretty cool. The Dam Tour is also cool.
Best buffet is at Rio as mentioned. Friday nights it's seafood night and you usually have to wait in line for over an hour but worth it. They also have a Mardi Gra parade that hangs from the ceiling. That is WAY cool and they throw the beads and stuff.
The tower is about $15 a person to go up. That may have changed but they do charge you.
The giant aquariam behind the check in desk is at the Mirage where the volcano is. That is pretty neat if you catch a diver in there cleaning it. They also have a dolphin thing but I thought that was kinda lame. The BIG aquarium at Mandalay Bay is much better. Don't know that fee.
You will find that being there for only 3 days/2 nights won't allow you enough time to see the stuff.
The coolest freebie thing was the pirate battle in front of Treasure Island but I think they don't do that anymore. Not sure. That is just north of the Mirage.
Take a great pair of walking shoes. :thumb:
